Se en annan sida av staden på vår Mumbai cykeltur när du cyklar genom sitt tidiga morgonlugn. Passera ikoniska landmärken, dolda hörn och bevittna Mumbai innan folkmassorna anländer. Under ledning av ett ansvarsfullt reseföretag stöder denna resa direkt lokala utvecklingsinitiativ. Människor som sover längs stigarna, hängivna som erbjuder sin morgonpuja (bön) och tidiga stigmän som är på väg ut på en joggingtur innan dagens värme lägger sig. Medan resten av staden bara har börjat vakna, utnyttjar vi de tomma gatorna och den kalla luften för att utforska södra Mumbai med cykel. När vi slingrar oss fram genom bakfilerna kommer vi att besöka Mumbai sevärdheter som Gateway of India och CST Station samt några dolda pärlor som Sassoon Dock och Bombay Panjrapole (ko helgedom). I slutet av turen stannar vi för en välförtjänt sydindisk frukost med dosa, idli, upma och mycket mer.

Gateway of India bygger på hinduiska och islamiska arkitektoniska stilar och ligger vid vattnet i södra Mumbai, och sedan 1924 var det det första som besökare till staden såg när de anlände med båt.
Tidigare känd som Victoria Terminus, är CST en av de vackraste järnvägsstationerna i Indien.
En av stadens största grossistmarknader för frukt, grönsaker och kött – och den första byggnaden i Indien som fick el!

Detta är det historiska hinduiska templet som Mumbai fick sitt namn efter! Vi tar en paus från våra cyklar och tittar in.
Cykla 3 km längs Arabiska havet på strandpromenaden Marine Drive. Vanligtvis packad med vänner och par på kvällarna, Marine Drive är tom på morgonen och bara väntar på att bli cyklad!

Javed was great! I hadn't ridden a bike in a decade and he really looked out for me. I loved the cows so much. And the dosa was delicious!
