Me and my family with two almost grown daughters were not wrong to book this tour. Everything was perfectly organized, on time and with clear instructions. We did not expect much from the lunch but the lunch delighted us. It was especially nice to have the guide Jessica who gave us a lot of information and followed us with advice the whole time

This was an excellent day trip to Beijing’s highlights. Our guide John did a fantastic job arranging our schedule. We started our tour with the Great Wall. The quick 5-minute cablecar ride took us up to the peak. John shared abundant knowledge about the Great Wall’s long history with us. After we finished hiking, we enjoyed a tasty buffet lunch with a wide selection of food. Every part of the trip was well scheduled and smoothly organized, leaving us with precious memories. Our guide John did a great job! He told us about the Great Wall’s history on the bus and shared helpful tips for visiting Mutianyu. He really knows how to plan a good trip. Since the site gets extremely busy in summer, he helped us get our cable‑car tickets ahead of time so we avoided those long, tiring lines. When we arrived at the Great Wall, it was sunny and hot, which made hiking quite challenging. There were huge crowds everywhere, but John pointed out some nice spots for photos along the way. Mutianyu Great Wall is every bit as amazing as people say. The scenery there is incredible, and we had such a lovely day thanks to his support.

Once on the bus, he talked through key historical facts and told us where to go for great views. When we got there, crowds filled every corner of the scenic area. Thanks to John pre‑booking cable‑car tickets, we skipped long frustrating waits. Bright sunshine made the air hot and sticky, so we took it slow while walking along the wall. We loved the magnificent ancient architecture set among steep peaks. This satisfying trip could not have gone much better.

Today was warmer than I’d prepared for, but the Great Wall is worth every drop of sweat. The 10 am bus gave us a later start, which suited our group perfectly. The ride was smooth, and we appreciated that Mubus goes direct – no detours. Helly’s tip to do west before east was brilliant because the west side has more shade in the morning. By the time we hit the east section, the sun was high but we were already used to it. The queues were short, just as promised. The visitor centre had cold drinks and rest areas, which helped. A fantastic day out – just bring sunscreen and a hat.

Hally What a day! The Great Wall is even more spectacular than I imagined. Mubus made it hassle-free – the 10 am bus left on time, and we were at the wall in 1.5 hours. The visitor centre was well-organised, and the shuttle was quick. Helly, our guide, was a star – her west-to-east plan saved us from the worst crowds, and her tip about Tuesday being quiet was 100% correct. We barely queued. Yes, the sun was strong, but the panoramic views from every watchtower made me forget the sweat. I’m so grateful for this experience. If you’re debating which tour – pick this one.

We really appreciated everything guide John did for our Mutianyu excursion. He has solid knowledge of the Great Wall’s rich history and spoke easy‑to‑follow English throughout our trip. Summer brings huge crowds to this famous site, so it was really helpful that he handled our cable‑car purchase ahead of our arrival. Temperatures ran high under sunny skies, which slowed our hiking pace a bit. We could enjoy the comfortable lounge area at the Mubus building to escape the heat. Even with large numbers of other travelers around, we got to see incredible, sweeping scenery. Thanks to John’s thoughtful support, our day ran smoothly.

The visit was very enjoyable and nice, despite the extremely hot weather and long lines. Just make sure to be overly prepared for the weather that day; it made everything better for me. Also, be prepared to stand in long lines to get up and down the wall. Apart from the lines, it was great. Due to the lines, I didn’t get to spend as much time on the Wall as I wanted, but it was perfect between leaving and arriving back in Beijing.
