Resenärer kommer att njuta av en guidad promenad genom frodiga gröna byar och bananplantager på sluttningarna av Mount Kilimanjaro. Längs vägen delar Guiden med sig av lokala berättelser, kultur och växtkunskap. Vandringen leder till det fantastiska vattenfallet Materuni, där besökare kan koppla av, ta bilder och njuta av den uppfriskande naturen. Gästerna kan också simma i poolen under vattenfallet, om vädret tillåter, innan de återvänder längs samma natursköna spår.
Resenärer kommer att delta i en traditionell kaffeupplevelse, lära sig hur kaffe odlas, skördas, rostas och bryggs av lokalbefolkningen. Gästerna kommer att delta aktivt i processen och njuta av nybryggt lokalt kaffe. Upplevelsen inkluderar också en läcker hemlagad lunch, som erbjuder en smak av lokala rätter och kultur i en avslappnad bymiljö.

The Materuni Village is beautiful, with its majestic waterfall and warm, welcoming community creating a truly unforgettable experience. The guided walk was filled with fascinating stories about local culture, while the traditional lunch especially the delicious banana soup was exceptional. This is a very rustic experience. It was a rainy day, so path was super slippery/muddy. Coffee extraction is done in a small house - again very native/ rustic exp. Waterfall is beautiful although the hike got adventurous due to the rains and super slippery pathway. Saw multiple folks slipping/falling on the way. The lunch exp was again in someone’s house porch- nothing fancy- traditional vegetarian couple of dishes. People were nice and it seems a way to bring business to the village.

Such a fantastic experience; the boys were super professional but still just genuinely good fun to be around! I was picked up from town no problem, the waterfall hike was unreal and making my own cup of coffee was a highlight. Honestly everyone involved went all out with lunch (and everything else on the whole tour tbh)… even though it was just me. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Emmanuel was an incredibly attentive guide and also a talented photographer capturing some truly beautiful moments throughout the day. The route is not too difficult, making it suitable for all ages to enjoy comfortably. The walk is surrounded by stunning nature and peaceful scenery from start to finish. At the end of the hike, you are rewarded with breathtaking waterfalls that make the whole journey worthwhile. The experience is perfectly completed with the traditional coffee process, where you get to learn how the beans are prepared, roasted, and finally enjoy a fresh, delicious cup.
