What an excellent experience this was. Our tour guide Kale was prompt, ( collected us at 3am ) and after collecting a couple of other groups drove us down to Moraine for an arrival at 4.45 am. Kale was full of excellent information about the area, guided us to the best place to see the sunrise over the lake complete with the most magnificent Alpen Glow. After hot drinks and snacks he then took us to Lake Louise. Dreamy views and breathtaking scenery. What a brilliant outing. Via Via provided blankets to keep us warm and we were all very impressed with service from Nathan in the office and the very user friendly website. Highly recommend.
Our tour guide Kathy was very disorganized. She did not make sure that the group was together before she started heading to the rock pile for the sunrise and it was pitch black. Very little instruction if any was given to us.. She had no idea that some people in the group are not going to Lake Louise. I have to ask her what we have to do since we paid for the extended hours. She has to look at her list and pointed to us where we can catch the bus. What a lousy tour guide! We’ve done tours using Viator and we’re happy with them. This time it was a failure. Kathy needs to be train to do her job.
