Denna tur är en unik upplevelse som ger besökarna en sann kulturell förståelse. Vår filosofi föddes ur vår lokala familj som ville ge kunderna en exklusiv utflykt annorlunda än konventionella turer. Vi strävar efter att ge våra kunder en extraordinär upplevelse genom att helt fördjupa dem i denna levande kultur. Denna tur börjar med en promenad till en dold ekologisk kaffeodling. Här har vi chansen att träffa Capuchin White Face apor och Howler apor, som båda är flitiga besökare i området. Efter att ha tillbringat tid på gården, kommer vi att gå mot den övre delen av bergen, passerar den ursprungliga centrala staden Monteverde. Här bosatte sig kväkarna på 1950-talet och grundade ostfabriken samt kväkarskolan. Vi tar sedan skjuts tillbaka till ditt hotell.

I slutet kan du njuta av en personlig provning av nybryggt kaffe medan du chattar med dina värdar. Efter att ha spenderat tid på den ekologiska kaffeodlingen kommer vi att gå mot den övre delen av bergen, passerar den ursprungliga centrala staden Monteverde. Här bosatte sig kväkarna på 1950-talet och grundade ostfabriken samt kväkarskolan. Vi kommer också att ta en titt på CASEM Cooperativa de Artesanas de Santa Elena y Monteverde, som grundades 1982 av en grupp av åtta kvinnliga konstnärer. Det är ett ideellt hantverkarkooperativ som arbetar för att öka det ekonomiska och sociala välbefinnandet för lokala kvinnliga konstnärer. CASEM-butiken och -verkstaden, som ligger i hjärtat av Monteverde, är ett skyltfönster för unikt, lokalt producerat hantverk. Dessa hantverk inkluderar dekorativa väggbonader, keramik, kläder, väskor, smycken, leksaker och träsniderier.

Lovely family owned farm with very friendly people. The tour is kid-friendly. And the empanadas and coffee at the end are amazing.
We could not have asked for a better experience - it was great! Justin was our guide. He was very knowledgeable, patient and wanted us to enjoy our visit to the cloud forest. We told him our biggest wish for the visit was to see the famous quetzal bird and he made our wish come true! Magical! We saw many other birds and learnt so much about the cloud forest. Thank you Justin.

We had a fantastic experience with our private guide Justen. He looked for us on time, and did not rest until he found the Quetzal!!! He taught us many things about the forest and we saw many birds! Super recommended

I stayed in Monteverde for a month and while there, I traveled within Monteverde and to many other cities. I used Faro Travel Costa Rica and was very pleased with the services provided as the staff were always professional, punctual, kind, friendly and helpful (especially Andres!). As I solo female traveler they helped me feel safe and also helped me book many activities/travels.
