Framme i Perast, båttur till ön Our Lady of the Rocks
Legenden säger att ön har skapats under århundradena av lokala sjömän som höll en gammal ed efter att ha hittat ikonen Madonna och barnet på klippan i havet den 22 juli 1452. När de återvände från varje framgångsrik resa, lade en sten i viken. Med tiden kom holmen gradvis upp ur havet. Seden att kasta stenar i havet lever även nu för tiden. Varje år vid solnedgången den 22 juli äger rum en händelse som kallas "Fašinada", när lokalbefolkningen tar sina båtar och kastar stenar, vilket vidgar öns yta. Förutom kyrkan från 1600-talet finns det också ett museum med gåvor som främst skänktes av sjömän och kaptener som hade levt genom stormar, strider och lång tid på öppet hav.
Vi besöker det stora torget mitt i Perast med kyrkan St. Nicola’s och dess imponerande 55 meter höga klockstapel. Därifrån fortsätter vi vår promenad i cirka 1 kilometer längs med vattnet, och beundrar den vackra arkitekturen från 1600- och 1700-talen, tills vi möter fordonet som väntar på att ta oss tillbaka till Kotor.

Igor was simply the best. I asked for photos and landscapes and he delivered. He must have connections as he summoned a breeze cleared the traffic got an ugly boat to move and even found me the perfect take home piece of glass. Not so much a tour as a "please share the beauty of where i live" experience. You must visit Igor if you visit Kotor.
Igor, our guide from 360 Monte was outstanding. He was very warm and friendly and accommodating to our group's goals for the tour. He was very knowledgable in the history of the area. Kotor and Perast were absolutely beautiful areas. It was well worth the excursion! I would definitely request Igor if I was touring again!

We loved Nadja! We took a private tour of eight to Kotor, Perast, and Our Lady of the Rocks. Nadja had a great smile, infectious laugh, and was a wealth of info. A very nice excursion. Our guide, Igor, was very good , full of information and quite helpful in helping to skip lines. Another huge advantage of a private tour. We went to Perast and to an elevated photo op location. The traffic on the main (only) road connecting to the port is awful, the only downside of the trip. But Igor kept us entertained. Highly recommend.
