Din tur börjar med en naturskön bilresa till Mongol Nomadic Cultural Heritage Center, där du kommer att fördjupa dig i de rika traditionerna i Mongoliets nomadiska livsstil. Upplev ett pulserande kulturprogram med traditionell matprovning, de själfulla ljuden från de fängslande mongoliska folksångerna. Du får också en chans att prova ett bågskytte och få en djupare förståelse för nomadiska seder som gått i arv i generationer Efter kulturvisningen kan du avnjuta en läcker lunch på turistlägrets restaurang. På eftermiddagen fortsätter resan till nationalparken Khustai Nuruu, där den anmärkningsvärda Przewalskis häst (Takhi) finns – den sista riktigt vilda hästen på jorden. När Takhi en gång utrotades i det vilda har han gjort en triumferande återkomst tack vare ett framgångsrikt återintroduktionsprogram som började 1992. År 2024 har Takhipopulationen i parken vuxit till över 315 individer. Bortom de vilda hästarna erbjuder Khustai fantastiska landskap, ett varierat djurliv och en fridfull flykt ut i naturen.

Vår guide och chaufför kommer att möta dig vid din boendelobby på din flexibla tid på morgonen. Sedan börjar vi vår resa med att köra till Mongol Nomadic Tourist Camp. Där kommer du att delta i det mongoliska nomadiska kulturprogrammet och få veta mer om mongolisk nomadkultur och livsstil. Där bjuds du på lite traditionell mat och underhållande Morin khuur och mongoliska folksånger. Dessutom kommer du att introduceras med att föda upp 5 sorters boskap och leka med nationella spel och bågskytte. Efter lunch fortsätter vi vår resa 110 kilometer sydväst om Ulaanbaatar, vi besöker Khustain Nuruu, ett naturskyddsområde dedikerat till att bevara och skydda Mongoliets vilda hästar, kända som takhi eller Przewalskis hästar. Samarbete med internationella miljöbyråer från 1992 till 2004, framgångsrika återinförandeprogram återupplivade Takhi-befolkningen. Det ekonomiska bidraget för buffertzonen från turismen används till 100 % för naturvård.

The best cultural experience tour I have ever been on, and I have traveled to almost 90 countries. The Mongolian people were enthusiastic and joyful in explaining to everyone aspects of nomadic Mongolian culture. The musical concert was particularly outstanding (I bought a CD afterwards). My guide was excellent in explaining what was happening so I could easily understand. The arts and crafts shop had outstanding artifacts, souvenirs, and art work for sale at reasonable prices. Much better than anywhere in Ulaanbaatar. The lunch buffet with lamb mutton was delicious and individually prepared for each table; not the usual lukewarm bland buffet usually provided on these type of tours.
What an amazing experience! This was a simpler, raw experience, full of discovery and fun. We got to see the rare wild horse in its natural habitat, learn a bit about the history of Mongolia, past and modern, taste local dishes and drinks, mount up on a camel and a yak! In addition, got silly with traditional games dating way back before electricity and even got a short driving tour of Ulaanbataar. All with a freedom from following a dozen or more others, and enjoying a relaxed schedule. The guide spoke perfect English and communication was not a problem at all. Highly recommended.

Our guide was knowledgeable, passionate, and spoke excellent English, making the history and culture come alive at every stop. The food was simple but satisfying. If you’re looking for raw beauty, rich culture, and a true sense of adventure, Mongolia should be at the top of your list. I would highly recommend the tour from Meet Mongolia tours
Enjoyed a lot the day tour. Nomadic camp is not far from UB in a beautiful spot. Their put nomadic cultural exhibition and show were authentic and interesting. The food was excellent. It was only 1h to reach out Hustai national park. I was guided to see the wild horses at clawn or dusk, but luckily I saw them not far from the entrance. Also there were number of marmots along the way roaming. Thanks to the good organisation, helpful driver and knowledgeable guide, I really had a great day trip. Would highly recommend this tour!
