Detta är en sann White Water-upplevelse!! Plaska dig nerför Coloradofloden genom forsarna i Westwater Canyon, där det förutom karga ökenlandskap finns chansen att du kan upptäcka vilda djur från skyhöga skalliga örnar till flodutter och bävrar. Under loppet av en dag, håll dig hårt när din guide hjälper till att navigera i klass III och klass IV whitewater, där forsar har namn som Sock-It-To-Me, Funnel Falls och Skull. Själva turen börjar i Moab där du träffar din professionella guide och får en introduktionsinformation om säkerhetsvästar och redskap. Härifrån, hoppa in i skåpbilen för att åka till insättningen på en naturskön del av floden, där din guide kommer att erbjuda ytterligare instruktioner om att rida inuti flottan. När du är redo trycker du av från sandbanken och förbereder dig för att plaska genom kanjonen.
På denna äventyrliga forsränningstur finns det chansen att du kan se helleristningar huggen i klipporna från områdets ursprungliga invånare, eller gamla gruvstugor, gravar och grottor som dateras till det gamla vilda västern. När du passerar ett gammalt växande bomullsträd, titta upp mot himlen för att leta efter havsörnar och de svävar och sträcker sig på vinden och håll utkik efter uttrar och bäver när de stänker och simmar i virvlarna. Du kommer att plaska genom 12 olika klass III- och IV-forsar. Din guide kommer att rodda flotten med åror, så du kan bara hänga på för att åka och absorbera ökenlandskapet när du stänker dig ner i kanjonen. Mitt på dagen paddlar din guide till en sandstrand i en lugnare del av vattnet, där du kan njuta av en fyllande lunchbuffé och kan ta ett uppfriskande dopp. Härifrån fortsätter du att stänka dig nedströms och lyssna på dina ekon i kanjonen, innan du lämnar Colorado River för en bekväm åktur till Moab.

We had an amazing full day rafting adventure in Westwater Canyon!! We would definitely choose Adrift again when visiting the area. Right off the bat, we felt taken care of with clear communication from the kind owner, calling us a couple of days in advance to make sure we had the best trip possible. Our guide, Tyler, was absolutely top-notch. He filled our day with fun stories, facts about the geology of the area, and more. His passion and knowledge rafting was evident. We were impressed by the lunch spread mid-day, and loved the adrenaline of the rapids in the afternoon. Our kids (age 14, 11 and 11) had a blast and made memories to last a lifetime. Thanks again to Tyler, Phil our driver, and all the team at Adrift for a wonderful day!
Our full-day Westwater Canyon rafting trip with Adrift was one of the highlights of our entire Moab adventure. The scenery is absolutely world-class and unlike anything I've experienced before. Towering canyon walls, incredible geology, and breathtaking views make this one of the most beautiful rafting trips anywhere. A special shout-out to our guide, Steve, who made the day exceptional. He was knowledgeable, professional, fun, and did a fantastic job keeping everyone engaged while making us feel safe and confident on the river. His passion for the canyon and rafting really elevated the experience. The entire crew was outstanding, and it's clear that Adrift has built a strong culture focused on customer experience and safety. I also want to recognize owner "Cranky Mike." With more than 50 years of experience, his leadership shows. He has built an impressive operation with an excellent team, and it is obvious why Adrift has such a great reputation. The rapids were exciting, the scenery was unforgettable, and the entire experience was incredibly well organized from start to finish. If you're visiting Moab and looking for a true bucket-list adventure, Westwater Canyon with Adrift should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Excellent experience. The weather was hot, the water wonderful. Michael, the owner of Adrift Adventures could not have been nicer - friendly, helpful;, accommodating. Our guide was knowledgable, friendly and - most importantly, highly skilled at getting us safely through the rapids. This is a great company headquartered in north Moab. They came well-recommended by the B&B we were staying at in town so we booked early with them on Viator. There's a variety of different types of tours you can book both on and off the water. Ie. Jeep tours, rafting, etc. We chose to go rafting as my wife and I usually do one of these trips each Summer. We chose the full day Westwater Canyon trip as it offered a nice mix of liesurely float in the morning, a provided lunch, and Class 3 and 4 rapids in the afternoon. My wife and I had forgotten some rafting essentials so we were pleased to find a very comprehensive shop in the store with everything you'd possibly need plus company merch. After about an 1.5 hour drive, we set out with another group of 8 on two rafts each with its own guide. Our guide, Turner, was experienced, super professional, and full of great stories during the float portion of the trip. Sandwich buffet lunch was good although something didn't agree with my wife's stomach. Turner handled the rapids portion of the trip flawlessly and we all had a huge amount of fun! At this time the water level was low so the Colorado River wasn't running too fast. As a result, the rapids, although fun, we're a bit tame. This was definitely NOT the fault of the company but rather our choice of time of our vacation and the conditions of the water. In order to get to the takeout location, we used a motor which saved a huge amount of time. All-in-all a fun day with beautiful scenery and great service from a good company. Highly recommend this excursion!

In May I was on a guys trip, and we made the best decision of our trip to drive the four hours to Moab and do a full day of white water rafting with Adrift Adventures and the greatest guide in the game Claire. Claire handled leading a raft of seven guys as well as anyone could and was both a fun and informative guide along the way, who definitely elevated the overall experience. I speak for our entire group when I say it was the highlight of our trip and one of the best days we had in a while. Would recommend Adrift Adventures (and Claire) to anyone who finds themselves in Utah.
