Minca är en liten stad som ligger vid foten av Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta på 700 m.s.n.m. befolket med kaffe-, kakao- och honungsproducenter. Beläget i en av de rikaste miljöerna eller livsmiljöerna i Colombia. Den har flera floder som går över hela dess territorium, fulla av vattenfall och kalla vatten som kommer ner från bergen, det är därför vi inbjuder dig att njuta av unika landskap på en charmig plats.

• Vi börjar turen från staden Santa Marta där vi tar en väg som på 45 min leder oss till staden Minca.
• När vi anländer till Minca presenterar vi guiden och en kort introduktion av vad vi kommer att göra under turnén, eftersom guiden som kommer att följa oss kommer att vara en lokal communityguide. • Vi börjar med en promenad längs en ekologisk väg på cirka 2 timmar eller 2: 30hrs, under vilken vi kan besöka vattenfall, simbassänger och naturlandskap. • Vi kommer fram till en kaffefarm där vi kommer att känna till kaffeprocessen och dess huvudsakliga aspekter. • Vi avslutar vår promenad när vi anländer till ett hus tillverkat 100% i bambu där vi äter gourmetlunch. • Därefter kommer guiden att förklara föredrag om kakao, dess process och dess derivat. • Vi avslutar vår turné med återkomsten till staden Minca där vi går ombord på vårt fordon tillbaka till staden Santa Marta som vi kommer fram till mellan 17:00 och 17:30.

Wear good shoes because there’s some walking uphill. Have plenty of water. Private waterfall was a plus.
While rainy, the Tour absvthe group were greatm forest, waterfalls, animals, coffee, chocolate, a gretvgroup and guide Sadam was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. Highly recommended!
Reynauldo was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, and local. There is a bit of walking so be prepared, but well worth the trek. Saw and learned about different wildlife. Also, the coffee was excellent and hands on with Cocoa was a bonus.
It was an very informative and exciting experience. Steep hiking. Definitely recommend long pants and a long-sleeved shirt and insect repellent. The tour had some amazing views. Ronaldo the guide was very knowledgeable and fluent also in English, he explained everything very well and answered all questions. I would definitely recommend this tour. The lunch was also very yummy 😋
It was amazing! Our guide Christiano was wonderful. He was so enthusiastic and so knowledgeable and also very funny. He also spoke 6 languages fluent which was very impressive
Very good day tour in the forests of Sierra Nevada - coffee, cocoa and the native flora and fauna, professionally and sympathetically explained.
The tour title mentions “waterfalls,” which suggests more than one. In reality, we were taken to just a single waterfall and given around 30 minutes of free time there. The rest of the tour felt heavily lecture-based - long explanations that took up a significant portion of the experience. We visited two locations: an organic coffee farm and a cocoa production farm. That was the extent of the itinerary, which made the overall title feel misleading. The guide came across as disengaged and not particularly enthusiastic. It felt more like he was going through the motions than genuinely enjoying what he was doing. This tour is not well suited for families. The children in our group were clearly bored during the lengthy talks, and even some adults seemed to struggle to stay engaged. Considering the price, the experience did not feel like good value for money.
Hotel pickup was on time, we had a day with quite a lot of experience who spoke in Spanish and English, the tour in the mine, knowledge of coffee and cocoa was a beautiful experience, so I highly recommend it.
