Booked last minute, it was a beautiful night, the food was fantastic. Spring Rolls were the highlight for me. Way too much food, struggled to eat everything. The entertainment was really good, one of the musicians seen that I was interested and I got a free lesson. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough to help you, they explained the food, the traditions and answered every question. Lighting the candle was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend. To top it off, it's a family run business and it really shows as the staff work so well together. Would definitely recommend and will do it again

Really wonderful cruise experience on the river with excellent traditional Hue food. They contacted us before the cruise, explained how to get there, and met us at the dock. We arrived a little early, which gave us time to take photos in traditional clothing. The food was amazing — homemade, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. As a special touch, they even made announcements in English just for the two of us. The entertainment was great as well, with talented singers and musicians. Being on the boat at night and releasing lanterns onto the water made the whole experience even more magical.

We were deeply moved by the heart this family pours into their craft. Everything—from the delicious food and the captivating performance to the magic of the lantern release—made for an unforgettable experience. We truly loved every moment.

We’ve been in Vietnam for almost 4 weeks (3 weeks to go!) and this was our 13th booked activity and definitely one of the best. This is a multi-decade family owned business and we felt like part of the family. Nancy is such a professional host and took the time and care to make us feel comfortable on the boat taking pictures of us, explaining the evening’s itinerary and every detail along the way about the 8 course authentic menu. After a few trips up and down the Perfume River we went to the dock to pick up the 3 authentic Vietnamese instrument musicians and 5 lovely singers. The concert lasted more than 45 minutes including 5 to 6 songs, 2 instrumental solos and was concluded with each passenger putting a “wish candle” into the river. What a great romantic and relaxing way to spend an evening in Hue away from the hustle and bustle of Walking Street etc. This is a must do when in Hue and a highlight of our trip so far. Great dinner and experience. We were given traditional outfits that we could wear throughout the experience. Pictures were clicked and shared later. We got to listen to some traditional Hue musical instruments and also got to release lanterns in the river. There were a lot of different variety of food in the dinner too. Overall, great experience, would recommend.

As my title suggests this particular river/ dining experience, is about the culinary and musical culture of Vietnam.. A brief but enjoyable river boat experience in my opinion.. A very warm welcome awaits you from the host and her team.. You can try on traditional Vietnamese clothing and have pictures taken for your memories and there is absolutely no added hidden extra cost to do this.. The lady just wants to allow you too embrace your time with her.. She will take pictures and forward onto you... The cusine that is offered too your table is taster type portions and as someone who travels this globe extensively the cusine was delicious and the lady or staff explain about the cusine and how too eat it..? After around 45mins on the river, you return to the landing station so the boat can pick up the local musicians and singers who will then entertain you as the boat again goes back out onto the river... This experience, in my opinion is a wonderful, relaxing and informative experience and I found it too be a enlightening way too see something about Vietnam, its cusine and culture for a lovely evening on the river.. Is it a must do experience? No, but youre obviously doing some research into possibilities of such a river/ dining experience because youre reading this and other reviews to possibly choose one such experiences.. Very rushed. 7 courses in 1 hour. Couldn't hear properly because of motor and music in background. Needs a better sound system. Not good $ value
