I Mexiko har vi en stark tradition av muralism som går tillbaka till 1930-talet. Idag har begreppet muralism utvecklats. Konstnärer målar nu gatorna för att försköna offentliga platser eller ge ny mening till områden som drabbats av våld, bland annat teman. I vår gatukonsttur kommer vi att gå på sightseeing genom stadens centrum, se otroliga väggmålningar av världsberömda konstnärer och utforska den underjordiska graffitivärlden skapad av lokala och internationella konstnärer. Vi kommer att lära oss att identifiera olika stilar och tekniker för graffiti och få en djupare förståelse för gatukonstens värld. Denna tur är perfekt för dem som inte är bekanta med Mexico City, eftersom det hjälper dig att fördjupa dig i stadens kultur genom sin konst.

This was really fun. If you have a couple of hours to see the city in a different light … don’t miss this one. I started to look at the street art in a different way. Our guide was great, he really showed us about the area through a natives eyes. My son and I were so thrilled we did this walking tour.
The tour director is very well organized and great with communication. If you are interested in art, art history, explanation of street art and graffiti, book this tour now! The guide, Estefania, is extremely well educated in art, art history, street art, graffiti and the current trends in the street art scene. She was able to more than answer all of our questions, including questions about the living walls and other things we saw around Mexico City while walking the city. Also, Estefania was especially a pleasure because of her enthusiasm for the subject matter. Great!
