Was not leisurely in any way. Spent two hours banging around with 100 other boats constantly crashing into each other just way too crowded. Host was friendly but kept wanting to turn it into a party boat, which was not what was advertised. So many other amazing things to do in this city would give this a miss.

The name of this tour is a little misleading- this is not a leisurely, relaxing canal ride. It’s definitely a full-on party boat (which we enjoyed) That said, the experience was fantastic. The guide was awesome and kept the energy high the entire time with fun games, karaoke, and lots of interaction. Just a heads up: most of the activities involve drinking, so if that’s not your vibe, this might not be the best fit. The taco stop was a nice touch, and the tacos were actually really good. I’ve done a similar Xochimilco tour before and felt like we covered a lot more of the canals on that one. This tour is shorter in route- it leaves the dock, goes a bit down the canal, stops for tacos, and then heads back. Overall, if you’re looking for a fun, high-energy party experience, this is a great time. If you’re hoping for a more scenic, traditional ride through Xochimilco, you may want to explore other options.
