During a trip to India, I came across a workshop specializing in Meenakari and was instantly captivated by this ancient Indian jewelry-making tradition. I couldn’t resist seizing the opportunity to attend this workshop. Meeting the award-winning masterful yet humble artist, Jaswant Kumar Meenakar, deepened my respect for this artisan craftsmanship, which has been passed down through generations. Having been in the jewelry industry for over 18 years myself, it was fascinating to watch how effortlessly he manipulated the tools and getting the work done. Yet, when I tried, I realized just how challenging it truly was! As a jeweler and designer, meeting the master of Meenakari was truly an irreplaceable and unforgettable experience!

The meenakari workshop I booked with Rajasthan Studio has been, by far, one of the most fulfilling experiences. This is the best gift I’ve given to both myself and my sis in law; the price was well worth the experience…we both cherished our time with our artist and his family. They were lovely to be around and with. We learned so much about the artist, his art, the history, and the beauty and love for the art deepened within us. Kunal was our guide and we absolutely adored his demeanor and his presence; he shared so much knowledge with us and gave us his time in a wonderfully genuine way. We will be recommending Rajasthan Studio and Kunal to everyone we know. I am sincerely impressed with the founder and owner for creating such a beautiful business that supports artists and his/her local community.
Great experience in old city Jaipur. I was accompanied by the company staff Vikram who gave me a great walkthrough of the entire process of Meenakari. A very unique experience where I could make something with the expert himself. Amazing hospitality, value for money and so many things to learn about Rajasthan's art and culture through a live hands-on experience.
