Steg tillbaka i tiden under denna 3-timmars guidad tur till Medina Azahara från Córdoba. Känd som "Bright City", Medina Azahara, är ruinerna av ett stort, befäst arabiskt muslimskt medeltida palats som går tillbaka till 10-talet. när Spanien var under maurisk styre. Efter en kort bussresa, ta en guidad 90-minuters promenadstur för att lära dig mer om komplexets fascinerande historia. Besök på platsen museet, titta på en video och se resterna av moskéer, ceremoniella hallar, palats och workshops.

Den bussförsäljning desde la parada GLORIETA CRUZ ROJA, frente på hotellet Eurostars Palace. Es muy IMPORTANTE que acudan a esta parada antes de la hora seleccionada, ya que el bus no parará un minuto más de la hora de salida (rea muy puntual). Le recomendamos que acuda con unos 10 minutos de antelación. Allí encontrará a nuestros compañeros con el paraguas naranja. Visitaremos el museo, que se encuentro en el centro de visitantes, y el yacimiento. Para llegar hasta el yacimiento, utilizaremos un bus lanzadera (de estos gastos se hará cargo el guía ya que están incluidos en la visita). El orden de la visita puede variar dependiendo de las normas impuestas por el monumento.
Encontrarán a su guía en el parkering de Medina Azahara (centro de visitantes) con el paraguas naranja. Le recomendamos que acudan unos cinco o diez minutos antes. Subiremos al yacimiento cogiendo el bus lanzadera que va desde el parking hasta el mismo yacimiento (de este gasto se encarga el guía ya que está incluido). Visitaremos el yacimiento y el museo en el centro de visitantes. El orden de la visita puede variar dependiendo de las normas impuestas por el monumento.

The guide was very informative. The welcome video helped to explain what would’ve been there. Some restoration gives you an idea of the splendour. The day was very hot and it was like an oven, which made it quite a challenge.

Our guide was Miguel Ángel, a 10 not to be missed, very entertaining, educational, entertaining and fun. Even in the heat it is worth doing it.
Despite some problems the date of the tour happened (I got a message saying I had to go to the offices of the company to ask for the bus tickets or we wouldn't be allowed to take it. I noticed it just one hour before the tour started and had to run to their office, for they to tell me the information was wrong and I just to show up at the appointed place, so then I had to run to the bus stop) we enjoyed it. Our guide, Claudia, was amazing. I loved her energy, enthusiasm and how ready she was to answer any doubt you had about the site. I send her a lot of love, she really made our visit to Madinat al-Zahra something special.
