What a treat! You will learn history, legends and all about Pamplona at the capable hands of Phil, an in costume medieval knight who can also sing! He shares many tips and insider information that will make your visit complete. Came here for a couple days and feel like I’ve had a proper Pamplona experience to remember. Highly recommend! Don’t miss this one!

We were fortunate enough to have a private tour of Pamplona by an extremely knowledgeable ‘tenth century knight’, Phillipe, in traditional costume. He was interesting and delivered his story with humour. He even demonstrated his fine voice by singing a traditional Basque ballad. The tour took us around the walled city of Pamplona, stopping to point out notable things and included social and political history in an interesting manner. Met with my Knight, and local guide Phil, for this walking tour. He had a lot of knowledge and was good company. Enjoyed finding out about Pamplona and its history - across various periods. Delivered in perfect English and it’s a fairly easy walk, take a bottle of water if it’s hot as there are fountains to refill as you wander around. Definitely recommend this tour. Also got a list of great bar and restaurant recommendations too!

I had a wonderful Sunday morning tour with Phil, who was extremely knowledgable about the city and was very personable and entertaining in his tour. I highly recommend this trip not only for the incredible history of the city but also to hear about the parts of the city that many people overlook. We were fortunate in that on a cold New Year's Eve we were the only visitors mad enough to book, so we had a personal tour with our guide Phil who in the persona of a 1500 year old Norseman took us on a tour of the buildings and the history of the old town. He was entertaining and informative and answered our questions easily. The walk was not too long or arduous and we made frequent stops to discuss points of interest. Would definitely recommend.
We really enjoyed this tour and learned a lot about Pamplona and its history in a very interesting way! We were also allowed to bring our dog which we highly appreciated.
A fantastic immersive experience. I felt like I traveled back in time. Learning about the ancestors of Pamplona was fun. Phil is an amazing guide who gave us history and a great experience. If you have the chance to take this tour- do it!
