Biljetter måste först uppvisas på katedralmuseet (mittemot höger/södra sidan av katedralen på ärkebiskopens torg). Museet innehåller fina silverföremål, sällsynta mynt, en viktig samling av tryck och gravyrer av Albrecht Dürer, en av de största konstnärerna från norra renässansen, maltesiska konstföremål, vaxreliefer, en trompe l'oeil barockkupol, många målningar och andra artefakter. Efter att ha besökt museet kan besökare lämna museet, korsa ärkebiskopens torg och presentera samma biljett för inträde till St. Paul's Cathedral i Mdina. Även om katedralens yttre fasad är slående enkel, är insidan rikt dekorerad med ett färgglatt inlagt marmorgolv, ett fresker i taket och en mängd andra fantastiska detaljer, inklusive altartavlor, målningar, marmorarbeten, intrikata träslöjd, silverartefakter, statyer och färgade glasfönster.

Great value for €10 senior rate! Such another beautiful cathedral and a museum full of beautiful treasures: from Malta’s oldest Medieval Cathedral’s Bell cast in 1370 to a wonderful art gallery including a huge Polyptych of St. Paul. In fact, the entire ancient city is lovely to walk around with stunning views from the top fortified terraces. Don’t forget to go to -1 underground chambers to see the Roman ruins and - outside - the exquisite St. Agatha’s Chapel in Mdina displaying Jesus Christ’s story of his last days all in beauty carved figures… and then a fantastic 18th Century Neapolitan Crib large-scale model ( in the museum).
Cannot stress how wonderful the museum, the church & the experience is. It’s not the cheapest attraction, but the levels of detail & interesting material displayed made it worth visiting. Spent a good two hours here on a very windy day. The Cathedral is breathtaking & the staff were a delight who were extremely helpful. The art displayed in the museum was shown to me by a very enthusiastic staff member who made the visit a joy & I cannot highly stress how much the staff here are a credit to the organisation. Would recommend for all art lovers & culture vultures.
Great place to walk through, the museum and church are beautiful. Loved the Albrecht Durer room. Had lunch at the Bacchus, delicious.
The combined ticket gets you entry to both the cathedral and its museum. The cathedral has a highly decorated interior and is nice to take some time to enjoy the stillness. The museum hosts a lot of silver work including some wonderful statues of the apostles and lots of impressive artwork.
Lovely Cathedral to visit with an excellent museum. The tombstones on the floor are beautiful. Highly recommend a visit.
I bought a combination ticket for both the cathedral and the adjacent museum, but without an audio guide because we did not have the time to see everything in detail. The entrance fee was very interesting and value for money. Beautiful church with crypt and beautiful museum.

The ticket office person was so friendly. We both were prepared to pay the 10 euro entry but as it was both of us, he was prepared to offer 2 tickets for 16 euros. This gave us access to both the museum and cathedral - with the bonus of the Bienalle Art show appearing in the museum at this time. The Cathedral did not disappointment. Amazing artwork with explanatory notes beside each, and awe inspiring roof lines. The way in which the candlesticks and the respective doors, were decorated were truly inspired. Stunning! The museum, unfortunately we didn't have time to see but from the little we did see, looked like it was curated simply and effectively.
