We had an exceptional day with Raúl (tour guide) and Omar (driver). My husband and I travelled together, and the total number of people on tour was 8. It was an air conditioned micro bus which was very comfortable and spacious. There was a minor issue that led to us leaving a little behind schedule, but we were able to make up the time and not miss anything. We paid a minimal fee for pickup at our hotel in the Escalon area. Raúl has an extensive knowledge of both contemporary and Mesoamerica history. He also knows a lot about flora and fauna, which we appreciated. He gave excellent recommendations about many things both in San Salvador and beyond. We would absolutely do this tour again, and trust Raúl and Omar to take us anywhere! There is also great customer service from Salvadorean Tours and they messaged us immediately with information preparing us for the tour. Overall, a 10/10 experience from top to bottom.

Interesting tour of Joya de Ceren, San Andrés, and Tazumal, the main sites with Mayan archaeological findings. Very well preserved and with the surroundings well maintained and marked. Punctual and quite complete, which ended with a lunch overlooking Lake Coatepeque and a look at El Playón, a bed of volcanic rocks. Noe, the driver, and Stanley, our guide, were very attentive and helpful with the group. Stanley gave us plenty of information about the findings, the history, and the conditions of the sites we visited. He also answered all our questions throughout the tour. It was a good and productive day with this tour.

Such a beautiful trip! Learned a ton about Mayan history, and the history of El Salvador more broadly. Amazing way to see more of the country and learn about its roots. And Adonis was a super kind and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend :)

Super organized and executed tour. Exactly how you expect a professional company to work, pick up on time, schedule was very good planned, driver Juan was always one step ahead and moving us safely around (Gracias!!) and guide Alfredo was very knowledgeable about history and nature. Often explaining to us besides the historical monuments that we see also the flora and fauna around. Not the cheapest but you know what you get - can totally recommend:)
