Matlagningskurs i Koh Samui med Micro Organic Garden

We came for a Thai cooking class on 27th of June. Seamless transfer from the hotel. Our host Lat welcome us. We absoluteky loved her energy, pedagogy, patience. We made 4 dishes. The set up of the cooking class is super clean, efficient, we each had our own stations. Instructions are very clear and the classes are very well structured. You learn about spices, tips of cooking ingredients, etc. The setting is really casual and fun. Lat is really a great host, full if energy and stories and jokes. It ladts about 5 hours altogether so we suggest you dedicate a whole day to the experience (finishes around 3pm). The highlight of our Samui trip. Thanks Lat and Team !!

Chef Lat is such an amazing cook and it is clear that she has educated herself on organic and authentic Thai cooking. She was hilarious and provided an amazing experience for us. The small size of the class meant we got the best of her. She even picked up us such we could reach her farm until some flooding on the road the night before at no charge.

Not only is Chef Lat funny and a great story teller but her cooking skills are amazing. We had a great time learning from her and hearing of her experiences. We had so much fun and the good We made with her guidance was so tasty. Definitely worth it andhighly recommend it.

We recently did the cooking class at Island Organics Samui, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, Chef Lat and her team were incredible. They ran everything like a well-oiled machine, yet still made the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. Every step was clearly explained, and even though wok cooking is fast-paced, they made it easy to follow—as long as you listened carefully, you couldn’t go wrong. What really stood out was Chef Lat herself. She is a genuinely beautiful person, and hearing her story and learning about how she grows her own produce was inspiring. You can tell there’s real passion behind everything she does. I also picked up some unexpected tips—especially a great trick to improve my worm farm tea back home, which I never expected from a cooking class! We were lucky enough to be the last class before they begin renovating the kitchen to make it even better. If I’m back in Koh Samui, I’ll definitely be returning to learn more dishes and see the new setup. Thank you, Chef Lat and your amazing team—highly recommended.

excellent experience! very well organized and structured. chef let and her staff are very well prepared, efficient, and conduct a seamless class from beginning to end. the food prepared is super delicious, and instructions are easy to follow. the garden is super special and quite impressive. i would highly recommend this unique experience of a true farm to table to anyone in Koh Samui looking for a fun activity.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hours spent at Island Organics! We learned a lot about combining Thai herbs and spices and the beautiful flavours of soups, curries and other dishes. One can feel Lat’s passion and hard work that she has and continues to pour into this project. Very commendable. We made our own yummy dishes. Fabulous and fun learning. Treat yourself to a wonderful half day! Thank you Lat and team!

We had a wonderful time with Lat. she is super funny and a fantastic host. We had / made great food in a fun and easy way. Their communication was good! We can definitely recommend this class!!!
