Resplan

Was such a good jam packed day. The tour organised to pick me up from my hotel (despite it not being on the list) and drop me off also. We started off with the hike to the waterfall which was stunning. We went early am and missed the crowds which was also great. We then stopped at the coffee farm on the way back. The boys there were so fun and was a very well communicated educational experience. With yummy coffee!! And the lunch was delicious. We then drove to the hot springs which were amazing!! Such a beautiful experience. My guide Edwin was the best, he made it such a fun experience and looked after me well. Made sure I had enough food and water. Was overall a great experience.
It was a well-organized one-day tour with Safari Soles Tours tour operator. Our guide was Benson, who picked us up at the hotel, arrived on time, was kind and helpful throughout the whole day. We walked up to Materuni Waterfalls, these were really nice, after that the coffee tour was very interesting and we were provided with a good lunch also. The last event was to have a bath in Kikuletwa Hot Springs, it was a great time to have a rest a bit in the beautiful lakes. I can recommend the tour for everybody.
It was a wonderful day. We explored, learned and so so many things. Innocent and Benson have been the best guides!
Edwin from Safari Soles was an exceptional guide and truly made our experience memorable. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire tour. He guided us beautifully to the waterfall, took the time to answer all of our questions, and shared his knowledge in a way that made the experience even more enjoyable. Beyond his professionalism, Edwin was wonderful company and brought such a positive energy to the day. He is aspiring to become a safari driver, and I genuinely believe he is well on his way. With his passion, curiosity, and dedication, he will make an excellent safari driver in the future. He is already a fantastic tour guide, and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, and memorable experience with Safari Soles. Btw we did a guided tour to the waterfalls along with a local village visit where we were given a Coffee Tour. The village is located on the way to the waterfall so it’s all in the same area.
I had such a lovely time with my guide Innocent (inno), or Mr Nissan man as he is known. We started with the hike to the waterfalls which was lovely and peaceful, I loved that we went early, then came back for the coffee experience which was incredible. Coffee is sooo good. Inno took so many pics for me which made it even better. The lunch was so yummy at this nice hut also, banana soup is delicious, along with all the other tasty local food. Innocent then drove me to the hot springs and I had a lovely time swimming and interacting with other tourists, while he waited patiently. Innocent was very knowledgeable of the area and shared lots of information, which was lovely. I would totally recommend innocent for your guide, he is also very funny and nothing was too much effort. Thanks legend.
Amazing experience, the food, the hiking, the coffee ritual. Ahsante for everything!!!
We've had a delightful day with our guide Eddie. He was very nice from the beginning, he was on time for the pick up, and we have also learnt a lot about the culture. I would highly recommend this activity.
We are glad to hear that you had a great trip with Eddie. We hope to welcome you back again.
This day trip was a fun experience and included a hike, interactive coffee making demonstration, coffee tasting and lunch. You will want to take some coffee (organically grown) home with you. I took my elderly father, not realizing the hike would be a bit much for him; however, the guide was helpful and patient as he needed to walk carefully and slowly over the rough terrain. This would be a fun family day trip for those wanting to experience a tribal village and support their coffee enterprise.
We are glad to hear that you enjoyed you trip to Materuni Waterfalls.
I did this experience as the final day of my 8 day safari itinerary and it was a wonderful way to wrap up my trip. All of this was arranged through Safari Soles, the team there is amazing. Adelina did a fantastic job designing the activities and stays for my trip. She was able to answer all of my questions quickly and clearly. My guide for this Experience was named Innocent. He did an amazing job getting me around and communicating clearly with me in order to arrange pickup. Innocent has a fantastic personality and was also knowledgeable about the area and activities we were doing. Where he really did a good job was making me feel comfortable and safe throughout the day. He was extremely trustworthy and well equipped to handle all of the roads on this journey. I had a fantastic day with him and hope to see him one day on a future safari as a guide.
Thank you for your reveiw, we are glad that your guide innocentmade your trip memorable and enjoyable. We hope to welcome you back again!
My Driver / Guide (Beny) was so amazing. He spoke and understood English very well. He told me all about the different tribe's / regions. I'm a solo traveler this trip and it was just me and the guilde. The hike was easy but if it was to rain 🌧️ (it didn't on my trip) it would make it a lot more difficult (for the car all dirt roads and the hiking) The waterfall was amazing and well worth the hike (the energy it creates was so magical) The drive are about 2 hours to the waterfall and 2 hours from the waterfall to the hot springs. The hot springs are beautiful and the water is crystal clear but the water is not hot.
