My review is not exactly for this tour. Due to The guide being illl, we switched to the UNESCO'S Matera and Alberobello tour. The drive was comfortable, with a small group of 6 tourists. I would have liked more tome In Matera, but it was worth it to also see Alberobello. The old buildings are well preserved and in use. Very beautiful. Vito is an excellent guide, very nice and courteous too.
I’d give more stars if I could! Vito was a very engaging guide—knowledgeable, interesting, and friendly. We learned a lot and also made a new friend in Bari.
Vito provided an excellent tour of Matera. He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative on all things regarding the history of Matera as well as, in general, the culture of Italy. We spent an unforgettable day with him. The tour couldn't have possibly have been better.
Vito was knowledgeable, and seemed interested in sharing that knowledge with us the first part of our trip. As the tour progressed he seemed to lose interest. At the end of the tour he asked us to grab a drink or a sandwich for lunch while he went to get the car. He said to take our time. Maybe we took too much time, because he drove us back to Bari exceeding 150 km/hour almost all the way. We were eight bug eyed, terrified, praying Americans! One of us even texted her children to say she loved them, just in case we didn’t survive the trip. Vito did not speak to us from Matera to Bari.
Hi thanks for the review The tour time was right And i given to you the right time to lunch break were usually we stop. Im sorry but the speed was right and was not overspeed as you mentioned but was in the right speed limit of our regional limit. Sorry for this
Our guide Vito was passionate, knowledgeable and very informative. He was able to relate the history of the area and point out specific areas of interest- that otherwise we would not have discovered / been aware of.

Vito was full of knowledge and character. He filled our drive to Matera with stories and conversation. He is very well educated about European History and Anthropology and we had long discussions about all kinds of subjects and philosophy. Matera was beautiful as expected and seeing it through Vito’s perspective was unique and special. He took very good care of me as a guide and I highly recommend his tours for a personal and honest taste of Puglia.
They were a no show. I travelled from the USA to visit. I lost taxi money, time an entire day when i could have been on another tour. I should have been informed the day before and not 2 hours after. I was at spot early and waited 2 hours. It was hot. Lack of consideration. I will consider not booking with you in the future. You shouldhave xlconfirmed tours for guests.

What beautiful sights with a fantastic guide. Vito’s Matera and Alberobello tour is a great way to see two beautiful towns in one day. Vito was a great guide who was very knowledgeable. Definitely must see destinations while in Puglia
