Matanuska-glaciären är en av Alaskas främsta destinationer. Med sina 47 miles långa och 4 miles breda är det Alaskas största glaciär som är tillgänglig på väg. Det har också ett av de mest tillgängliga områdena att gå på av alla glaciärer i Alaska. Förundras över is som bildades för tusentals år sedan högt uppe i Chugachbergen.
Din dag börjar med en magnifik naturskön bilresa längs Glenn Highway med fantastiska bergsvyer och gott om tid för fotostopp. Därefter kommer vi att köra till glaciärens tå för att gry våra isklumpar och börja utforska glaciären till fots. Varje dag är unik på grund av glaciärens dynamiska natur. Vi tillbringar vanligtvis två timmar och går tre mil på isen. Efter att ha utforskat glaciären äter vi lunch på ett lokalt matställe med fantastisk utsikt över glaciären och det omgivande landskapet. Varje turné kommer att anpassas för att passa din grupps intresse. Detta är en chans att utforska glaciärisen en gång i livet!

Wonderful experience! Would definitely book this trip again! We saw beautiful glaciers, tool lots of pictures and rode a sleigh halfway to the glaciers. Unforgettable experience.

We were fortunate to have great weather. The guides got us to the destination ahead of other groups, allowing us to experience the area without interruption. The guides' geographical knowledge was key to our wonderful experience. We spent 2 plus hours on the glacier walking an easy 2.65 miles.

The view is fantastic. The guide, Diego, is nice and knowledgeable. The service is great. I have to add an extra person to the tour only a day before the trip, Rochelle moved quickly to make it happen. Strong recommendation.

Jason was a fun and knowledgeable guide. He answered all of our questions and taught us so much. The glacier was so beautiful and fascinating. I'd go back! They'll help if you don't have super warm gear. The staff were all wonderful and helpful.

We had a wonderful time with Adam and Diego. 1000% recommend. It was not too hard for someone slightly out of shape. The hike was 2.68 miles/9800 steps.

So glad I took this tour to hike Mantanuska Glacier with knowledgeable and well trained professionals. They kept our group safe while still providing for breathtaking panoramic and close up views of the glacier. Guides kept the hiking pace comfortable with plenty of time for photographs and glacier discussion. The meal after the hike was delicious and offered a choice of Alaska Delicacies. Fabulous experience.

My wife and I joined the Matanuska Glacier Winter Tour, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Alaska. After all, how many people can say they've actually hiked on a glacier? Our guide, Victoria, was excellent-friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. She picked us up at our hotel right on time and, during the two-hour drive, patiently answered all of our questions about glaciers, wildlife, and Alaska. She also made sure we felt safe and comfortable during the hike. Walking on the glacier was an incredible experience. Lunch, water, and snacks were provided, and everything was very well organized. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we highly recommend this tour.

Great experience with knowledgeable tour guides, Victoria and Adam. I got the halibut sandwich for lunch, it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Onion rings were ok.
