Besök den pittoreska vinregionen Matakana. Bara en timme norr om Auckland kan du se inhemsk skog och gigantiska träd ormbunkar innan du passerar genom vackra får, nötkreatur och rådjur land. Se ett 900 år gammalt Kauriträd. Du kommer att njuta av en minnesvärd öppen meny enrätters lunch på Utmärkelse prisbelönta Plume Vineyard Restaurant och även prova deras Runner Duck Estate Viner. Vi besöker tre olika vinproducenter som kan variera på dagen beroende på tillgänglighet.

Omaha Bay Vineyard är en charmig familjeägd vingård Estate som producerar utmärkta Bordeaux och Rhone Varianter som Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot och Syrah. De producerar också flora, Pinot Gris och Chardonnay. Uppe på en kulle finns magnifik utsikt över Stilla havet i fjärran. De visar också ett urval av konst och målningar producerade av lokala konstnärer och skulptörer
Njut av en läcker lunch på den Utmärkelse prisbelönta Plume Vineyard Restaurant och smaka på en rad av deras utmärkta Runner Duck Estate viner som produceras från sina egna vingårdar
Smaka vin från druvor som odlas på en egen vingård på 20 hektar. Vi tar lunch på Brick Bay Vineyard café ibland beroende på tillgänglighet. Druvor som odlas inkluderar Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Syrah och Malbec. De producerar också en härlig Rose' och mousserande Methode Traditionelle

This tour easily exceeded my expectations, which were already pretty high. John was excellent insofar as he made the trip both entertaining and educational. His knowledge of the history was impressive and his personality made it seem like you were touring with a friend. Without a doubt, I would not hesitate to recommend this trip.
Our second tour with John, and another fabulous experience. John is an excellent host & guide, and is very knowledgable on a wide range of topics. The time in the van passed very quickly with such an engaging host. Lunch at Plume was wonderful. Thanks for a great day!

We traveled to two wineries and had a nice selection of wines at each one. John is very knowledgeable about wine, this region, and was a great host. He engaged his passengers to see what everyone wanted to do. The lunch at the Plume was delicious. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Our tour guide John, was really great with commentary and had a very good knowledge of New Zealand. The winery’s were very nice. We had a very relaxing day going to the first winery, we also order a baked Camembert and crackers for $18, which was just heavenly to have with the wine tasting. We then headed off to Plume restaurant and winery. We did some more wine tastings followed by a very nice meal meal. The scenic stops allowed us to encompass the areas outside of Auckland. We thoroughly enjoy he day.

John made sure we had a great experience. Went to the wineries, the beach, honey store, and a few more picturesque stops. We highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of our trip. Thanks John for everything. Most importantly for being a safe driver.

This tour lived up to all the positive reviews! John is an amazing guide with a wealth of knowledge about wine and the local area. Although the weather didn’t cooperate the tour was still great! The food at the winery was exceptional! All around fantastic day! Highly recommend!!!

This winery tour was very enjoyable and John was so knowledgeable, he provided running commentary about the places we visited and New Zealand. We visited a number of beautiful scenic places on our way to two wineries. The wineries and lunch were superb and I would highly recommend this tour.
