Förbättra dina matlagningskunskaper medan du upptäcker traditionerna, smakerna och historien om det marockanska köket. Innan matlagning besöker vi en lokal marknad för att köpa färska grönsaker och ingredienser som behövs för våra recept. Tillbaka i vårt familjehem förbereder vi och njuter av traditionellt marockanskt mintte samtidigt som vi lär känna varandra. Matlagningskursen är helt praktisk. Du lär dig autentiska tekniker för att förbereda marockanska taginer, från skalning och hacka till kryddning med traditionella kryddor som Ras El Hanout. När vi lagar mat kommer vi att dela berättelser om marockansk kultur, traditioner och vardagsliv. Genom att arbeta tillsammans som ett team förbereder du flera olika rätter, så att du kan lära dig ett bredare utbud av recept och matlagningstekniker. I slutet av lektionen sätter ni er ner och njuter av den läckra måltiden ni har lagat tillsammans.

Our half day cooking class with Ahmed and chef Assan is the highlight of our trip so far. Their English was very good, they were warm, helpful and ready to answer all our questions, about food or Moroccan life in general. The experience of going to the market to pick the vegetables and herbs, the tea ceremony and then the hands on cooking was the best we’ve had so far this trip. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Not to be missed!
We met Hassan at the set time and place which was easy to find on foot. We walked to the local market and he guided our selection of fruit and vegetables. We walked on to the cookery school and had the best time! Hahmed explained the way to make mint tea in the Moroccan style. He had flair, panache and (most of all) patience! We enjoyed the tea, and I had just the mint leaves infused in water (as I've an allergy) There were 10 of us and we were all shown guided in how to prepare the veg and meat which we'd eat. We made 2 side dishes and 4 mains. I had vegetarian and my husband had meat. It was all excellent. We made new friends, learned new flavors and enjoyed the experience (and the air con) very much. Go if you have the chance!
Ahmed and Hassan were absolutely brilliant. We learned a lot about Moroccan culture and cuisine. The food we cooked was outstanding and tasted delicious. Great value for money, would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time with Hassan. He was very welcoming, very good at explaining each step of the recipes and at getting our three children involved. We made five dishes and the food tasted great. We can't wait to try the recipes again, now we're back home. One of the highlights of our week in Morocco.

I participated in this cooking class with my daughter as part of a great group of 6 people, and it was one of the highlights of our vacation! We started with a complete immersion by going to the market together with Chef Hassan to choose and buy our fresh ingredients. It was an excellent introduction, very authentic. A warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone actively participated. Hassan is a pedagogical chef, generous and very kind. Together, we prepared a true feast: a chicken tagine with olives and preserved lemon; a vegetarian tagine; a kefta with eggs; and two typical appetizers. Special mention for the perfect introduction to the traditional preparation of mint tea, a fascinating learning moment. We then shared and tasted all the dishes we prepared together... A pure delight for the taste buds! An essential activity in Marrakech if you want to take home a piece of Moroccan know-how. A huge thank you to Hassan for this wonderful moment!
Best cooking class ever. Market visit was short, only one stop to buy vegetables. But the cooking experience was fun! And the food was DELICIOUS. Better than restaurants we've tried. Beef tajine was unforgettable! Still waiting for them to send the recipes though :)
