Beläget i den gamla medinan i Marrakech och erkänt av Unesco, är Jemaa el-Fna-torget ett av de viktigaste kulturella utrymmena i Marrakech och har blivit en av stadens symboler sedan dess grundande på 1000-talet. Hela dagen , och långt in på natten erbjuds en mängd olika tjänster, såsom tandvård, traditionell medicin, spådom, predikan och hennatatuering; vattenbärande, frukt och traditionell mat kan köpas. Dessutom kan man njuta av många framträdanden av historieberättare, poeter, ormtjusare, berbermusiker (mazighen), Gnaoua-dansare och senthir (hajouj)-spelare.
Minareten i Koutoubia-moskén är en klassisk referens och ett viktigt exempel på Almohad-arkitektur och marockansk moskéarkitektur i allmänhet. Minarettornet, 77 meter (253 fot) i höjd, är dekorerat med olika geometriska bågmotiv och toppas av en spira och metallklot.
Bab Agnaou är en monumental port som vittnar om det storslagna förflutna av Berber Almohad-dynastin som hade installerat, på 1100-talet, hjärtat av sin makt i Marrakech. Flankerad av 2 kanoner är det en av de mest imponerande portarna i Marrakech.
Platsen valdes på grund av dess närhet till den viktiga Kasbah-moskén, som går tillbaka till 1100-talet. Den femte och sista saadiska härskaren var ansvarig för byggandet av många av de stora byggnaderna inom komplexet med Saadian-gravarna. Han byggde påkostade mausoleer i lika överdådiga strukturer. Materialet inkluderade importerad italiensk marmor och guld, med iögonfallande kakel, känd som zellige, gips och träslöjd. Hela komplexet utstrålar skönhet.
Mellah i Marrakech, tidigare känd som Hay Essalam är det judiska kvarteret i staden Marrakech, Marocko. Det är det näst äldsta i sitt slag i landet. El Mellah, det judiska kvarteret, har alltid varit ett bytesdistrikt. Judarna kom med salt, kontanter och guld; andra länder, produkter som marockaner inte kunde hitta på sina traditionella marknader. Idag finns det sällan judar i området, men den här typen av produkter fortsätter att säljas.
Säkert en av de mest extraordinära kejserliga relikerna i Marocko, Palais Bahia ("den lysande") gör ingen besviken. Byggt i början av 1800-talet av arkitekten El Mekki för Si Moussa, den dåvarande kammarherren av Sultan Hassan I, visar palatset ett brett utbud av arkitektoniska stilar som antyder kammarherrens lekfulla anda, särskilt efter att hans son ärvde den och lade till sin egen. märke av flamboyant glamour till platsen.
Souk Semmarine är en mycket färgstark shoppinggränd där vi främst hittar handlare av tyger, souvenirer, hantverk men också unika adresser från den marockanska antiken. Det representerar ingången till de specialiserade soukerna: kryddor, mattor, tyger, tofflor ... En riktig Ali Baba-grotta.
Medinan i Marrakech är en marockansk medina, Marrakechs historiska hjärta. Distrikten i medinan kan bära namnet på den närliggande dörren, en zaouïa, ett mausoleum, en moské, ett palats eller en kyrkogård som ligger där, en trafikaxel eller ett traditionellt namn. Marrakechs medina är också värd för soukerna i Marrakech.
Ursprunget till komplexet går tillbaka till den saadiska dynastin, för mer än fyrahundra år sedan. Ombyggd i mitten av 1800-talet på uppdrag av en inflytelserik kaid från Atlasbergen, har Le Jardin Secret varit hemmet för några av Marockos och Marrakechs viktigaste politiska personer.

We have to así for refund because they pretend to charle is extra $150 for pick us even when we ask for pick up on our hotel before make The reservation; and even that of you take a taxi from our hotel to where they said they depart it was a 15$ taxi, i think They try to scam us so we cancel but we lote The day
Dear Tania, As explained in our WhatsApp conversations, and for full transparency, we would like to clarify from the outset that this issue was not caused by our team, but by incorrect information provided by Viator’s booking/support side before the tour. Your review suggests that we tried to “overcharge” you or “scam” you. This is simply not true. Our product clearly states the meeting point at Café de France. Your requested location, Pestana CR7, is outside the standard pickup area for this walking tour and is approximately 47 minutes walking distance from the meeting point. Standard booking therefore did not include pickup from that location. The additional amount discussed was not for a taxi. If you had wished, you were entirely free to take a normal taxi yourself to the meeting point. The extra charge was for a private chauffeur service in a Mercedes luxury van, arranged specially from your location. This is a legitimate premium transport service, with a driver booked and kept available for the service period. It is therefore a normal business charge for a separate private transport arrangement, not an “overcharge” and certainly not a scam. It is also important to clarify that, in order for the booking to go through, a different hotel/pickup point had to be entered on the platform instead of Pestana CR7, which was the actual location later requested. This mismatch itself shows that the booking did not reflect the true pickup situation from the start. We immediately reported this matter to Viator, and Viator’s own support confirmed to us that this negative review arose because of a miscommunication from one of their booking team members. We also hold screenshots of: your conversation showing that Viator’s side gave you incorrect guidance, our conversation with you explaining the actual situation, and Viator support acknowledging that the issue came from their booking team. Unfortunately, the review system does not allow us to attach those screenshots publicly here. We would also like to note that your booking was made only around 6 hours before the tour start, outside practical planning time for a special private pickup request of this type. Even so, we replied to you first thing in the morning at 8:00 a.m, clarified the situation, and then issued you a full refund once it became clear that the booking had been made based on incorrect information from Viator’s side. For that reason, this review is not a fair reflection of our service, our listing, or our conduct. It is based on a misunderstanding created externally and not on any misleading action from us. We have reported the review and hope it will be removed, because it is not founded on the actual facts of the case. As general advice for future bookings, even when information is given by an external platform agent, it is always best to rely on the supplier’s direct confirmation regarding the true pickup point, meeting point, and any transport inclusions, especially if the platform has been made to reflect a different hotel or location than the real one. We remain committed to transparent communication, legitimate pricing, and fair treatment of all travelers. In this case, we acted in good faith, clarified the misunderstanding, and refunded you in full.
This was more than just a tour – it was a cultural immersion. We visited historic sites, spoke with artisans, and enjoyed Moroccan tea. Moroccomfort really knows how to deliver a memorable experience in Fez.

By far, the least enjoyable tour I had in Morocco. I felt rushed and stressed throughout the tour. It was too expensive for only three hours, and the guide seemed to just want to get rid of me. And rather than being guided back to my lodging as was promised in the description, I was dumped on the main square and left to fend for myself. Really disappointing.
This tour basically provides tourists with everything they need to see in Marrakech. Super kind and knowledgeable guide. Generally, a fantastic authentic experience worth doing while visiting Marrakech. I came home feeling happy and satisfied from having seen and met friendly locals. Shukran bezaf!!

This was an incredible tour of the old city for me and my family. I really appreciated everything that was on offer seeing the main squares and getting to sample some of the delicious foods they have on offer. I wish I could’ve booked my trip for longer because my guide truly became like an uncle for me and my children I must admit this. Nothing but the best quality and professionalism!!!!

The tour was very nice. We saw many unique parts of the city and culture. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. He helped us also when we wanted to purchase items at the market and ensured we got a fair price. My friends really enjoyed it and it was perfect for our group.

Had an amazing time with our tour guide and driver Badar who safely took us to the Merzuga desert (c. 9h drive from Marrakesh)! Although a long drive, it felt short thanks to Badars great tours on the way. We stopped to see local craftsmanship and tea brewing. In the desert we went on ATVs and Camels. I would highly recommend this trip!!!
