Marrakech: Atlasbergen Ourikadalens vattenfall och guide

Gorgeous ourika valley, small hike to reach the top of the waterfall..it's worth the climb..! Driver who fogs a Hello and our discussion ended the... dangerous driving..half laps in full 4 lanes, it got lost in Marrakech to bring us back to the hotel we did 30 minutes of turn and detour extra to find our way back..1h drive announced we took 2h30 round trip and return Little talkative guide he did not explain much to us but he remained very benevolent on the climb to avoid slips in the pebbles

We were greeted by a lovley tour guide Bilie whom . The hike was tricky in areas due to the terrain underfoot stones and steps but Billie was amazing from start to finish. A great tour guide informative with an abundance of history and knowledge. He ensured we were all safe and was patient and helpful throughout. The waterfalls were amazing and although tricky to negotiate at times underfoot we felt supported and glad we did the tour. Billie you really were out hero for the day and made our trip very special. Thankyou highly recommended

Mustafa is very friendly and nice. The tour was at a nice pace and very informative. We had a nice hike around the mountains before we had lunch in his house which was freshly prepared and delicious.

We made this tour with Samir and Abdoul they show us the country after we dinner with them an incredible experience we felt like local people. Abdoul and Samir were incredible we were very lucky to be with them!

Really enjoyed this incredibly fun and informative trip into the Atlas Mountains. We were collected from our accommodation, transport was excellent and very comfortable, driver was lovely. We arrived in Imlil and Samir gave us a magnificent tour and a good walk around the surrounding villages, showing us the most incredible spots. We then went for a delicious home cooked Amazigh meal at Samir's house. Samir is a great guy, really funny and very knowledgable about the region and his language skills are so impressive! Can't recommend this enough, if you want to see the Atlas Mountains, this is a fantastic experience and they take care of you impeccably!

We did a day experience hike in the Atlas, through Berber villages and into the mountains. It was a fantastic day filled with great learning and fantastic views. Our guide Samir was very knowledgeable and passionate, he shared his wealth of local knowledge and was very engaging in doing so! He knew the area very well and made us feel in very good hands. He is clearly a popular man in the area as he knew all farmers, families and other guides we past. The pace was good for the hike, the lunch was filling and yum! I did this trip as a day experience from Marrakech and would recommend to anyone to use Samir. I plan on returning for a trip specifically to the Atlas Mountains and will be in touch with Samir to sort this!

Amazing views with a really great guide. Samir led us at our own pace and told us many interesting facts.

All great. Recommended 100%. An authentic route from Morocco. First stop a local market, Second an argan oil cooperative, Third party a mountain excursion until you reach some waterfalls, fourth eat at the guide’s house, on a spectacular terrace with typical Moroccan food 🥘 homemade and last stop in the “desert” to see the camels and make an optional ride by camel, dromedary or horse. She's not the typical tourist.

Absolutely fantastic trip, our guide Idris was so knowledgeable of the village and mouNtains, it was the highlight of our trip and would urge anyone visiting Morocco to take this excursion you will not be disappointed! A memory we will have forever thank you Imlil guides!
