An unforgettable and necessary experience for any lover of Moroccan cuisine. A truly great and lively class within a very warm, family environment. The team is very well informed about the history of the country and the dishes, which really provides a connection with the culture, undoubtedly the goal of any trip.

It was an unforgettable experience, due to the welcome we received, the quality of the class, the explanations followed by the tasting of the dishes, all in a friendly and family atmosphere. Thank you for this wonderful discovery.

We were picked up at Riad (or as close as the streets of Marrakech allowed) by the owner. We received information about the locations we passed along the way. The course itself took place in the family's home. Reception in traditional Moroccan style. The course is possible in French or with the neighbor's help in English. We received an explanation about a vegetable tagine that was prepared in a beautifully decorated guest room. Afterwards, muntthee was prepared and drunk. Then it was our turn in the kitchen. Chicken and pickled lemon tagine. Moroccan Bread. Salad Moroccan dessert briouates Per couple/family brings their own tagine. Afterwards we could eat it all. Very tasty Professional, yet homely and familial feeling, With a touch of humor All questions were answered The chefs, interpreter, and organizer were pleasant, helpful, dedicated, and rightly proud of their work. Appointments were also correctly kept.

We had such a wonderful time at the Moroccan cooking class at Lamai Chef! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The people were warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing their culture, hospitality, and love of Moroccan cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious! We learned how to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes, and everything we made was fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic Moroccan spices. It was not only a cooking class—it was a wonderful cultural experience and a chance to connect with some truly lovely people. We left with new cooking skills, great memories, and, most importantly, full and very happy! We highly recommend Lamai Chef to anyone visiting Morocco. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss! My daughter and I did this together and had an amazing time. It started with a pick up from our hotel with Mr Abdellah who then proceeded to take us through the mortician tea ceremony. Aicha then gave us a master class in all the spices explaining how they are used in Moroccan cooking and their medicinal benefits. We then went into the kitchen and learnt to cook Moroccan lemon chicken, Moroccan bread, a typical salad, a Berber vegetable tagine, semolina pancakes and almond samosas with chef Khadija. We then sat down to eat the lunch we made ourselves. It was an extremely professional set up hosted by a wonderful family. The best few hours you will spend in Marrakech.
