Avresa från stranden i Tamarindo kommer du att njuta av en 4,5-timmars segling längs Costa Ricas spektakulära kustlinje på en av de specialbyggda katamaranerna. Alla är öppna och rymliga så att passagerarna bekvämt kan njuta av utsikten över det blå vattnet över Costa Ricas kustlinje med dess orörda stränder och grönskande djungler. Njut av utsikten med en kall tropisk drink, tillagad och serverad av besättningen när du söker efter delfiner, havssköldpaddor, flygfiskar eller till och med en brytande val. Du kommer också att kunna snorkla i bukten eller springa nerför den öde vita sandstranden medan den alltid hjälpsamma besättningen förbereder en fest med kyckling, frukt, chips, pico de gallo, guacamole och hemgjorda chokladkakor. Ta med din kamera och fånga ögonblicket som alla i hela världen pratar om när de är ombord.

Vid avresan seglar du lugnt längs Guldkusten och njuter av det vidsträckta, rika och varierade havslivet längs våra stränder. En del av det havsliv du hoppas att stöta på inkluderar valar, delfiner, sköldpaddor, flygfisk, rockor och ett brett utbud av sjöfåglar. Om förhållandena tillåter kommer du också att kasta några fiskelinor av ryggen i hopp om att kroka i en av de många viltfiskar som flyter våra vatten. Så småningom katamaranen drar in i en av de många avskilda vikar i området och du har möjlighet att simma i de varma Costa Rica vatten. Flytvästar, poolnudlar, snorkelutrustning och ståbräda finns tillgängliga om väderförhållandena tillåter. För de passagerare som inte vill bli blöta är katamaranen ett utmärkt ställe att koppla av i skuggan av den stora stora huvudsalongen eller loungen i solen på en av de många öppna däcksområdena.

Juicer : Apelsin, blandad fruktjuice , tranbärs-, äpple- och tomatjuice . Öl: Imperial, Miller och Coors Light. Sprit: Flor de Caña Rum, Absolut Vodka, Jack Daniels Whisky, Tanqueray Gin, Jose Cuervo Tequila och Cacique Guaro. Vin: Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon och Frontera Sauvignon Blanc. Segla sedan över bukten och tillbaka mot din utgångspunkt. Du kommer till hamnen när solen närmar sig horisonten och himlen exploderar i en mängd färger. Passagerare stiger av på sanden i Tamarindo eller Playa del Coco.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience. The biggest concern was safety—there were no life jackets available, which is a fundamental requirement for any snorkeling excursion. We had also requested a vegetarian meal when making the reservation and were assured it would be provided, but no vegetarian option was available during the trip. That was frustrating and avoidable. The snorkeling itself was underwhelming. There were virtually no fish or other marine life to see, making it feel like a waste of time. On the positive side, the service from the crew was friendly, and the drinks were good. However, I wish the guide had spent more time sharing information about the local geography, wildlife, or history, as that would have made the excursion much more engaging and worthwhile. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to our expectations.
The whole experience was relaxing and a great opportunity to get out on the water. It was a great experience!!

Overall, it was a great experience. The catamaran wasn’t too packed, which meant that we had a lot of space to relax and enjoy the deck. The snorkeling/beach spot was very nice and we enjoyed being able to have over an hour there. Open bar during the the entire trip was a big bonus. Guides were very friendly and informative. Our only issue was that it began to thunderstorm on our return. However, the guides insisted on stopping to fish! I understand it was part of the experience, but I don’t want to get struck by lightning just to catch a tuna. It was just a wild experience going through that. My friend gets sea sick and even with medication, it was very choppy during the storm. It only got worse as we waited for them to fish. Just not the best idea all around if you ask me.
Super fun! Don't let a rainy day scare you away. It was raining the day we were supposed to go on our cruise but the captain said we were still all good to go and we are glad we listened. There is only 35 people on board because a bunch of them bowed out because of the weather. Their loss was our gain. About 25 minutes into the cruise the weather cleared up and it was absolutely beautiful. They took us to a private beach that you can only get to by boat. We got to swim out from the catamaran to the beach have a nice long walk and swim in the ocean. Drinks were flowing and Good vibes were there! Definitely recommend
Buyer beware. They care more about $ than patron safety. Horrible weather today. Pouring rain all day. Could barely see the water from the beach and they still went out. No refunds. Boat is is still on the water and it is pouring rain and thunderstorming.
Do not trust this supplier. We waited for them for 20 minutes to decide if they were going to cancel due to weather. We watched the transport boat turn upside down in the waves and it was thundering and lightening and they decided to go out anyway. We are a family traveling with two young children and didn’t feel safe taking them in these conditions. However, they marked us as a no show and refused to refund us. I didn’t feel comfortable putting my kids at risk in these weather conditions. We were not the only family that decided not to go. Others travelers just got off another boat and said the ocean was very rough and that their captain said it was unsafe for others tours to go out. Do not book with this company if there’s a chance that the weather maybe poor as they won’t make safety a priority.
This is an amazing tour! Totally worth the price! You sail, swim , snorkel, eat and drink! Then sail back during sunset. It’s a beautiful half day sail. All of the crew is friendly! On our trip we saw sea turtles but other people have said they’ve seen dolphins and even whales.
They did not provide any what we paid for! My minor daughter and I paid $250, which was more than we were initially told, because we wanted to go snorkeling and had no gear of our own . When we got to the point that we would go snorkeling, a hour and a half up the coast, they told us that they did not have enough equipment for us! We were completely left out of what we had specifically paid to do. They were not at all helpful on board, telling us that they and the office knew they did not have enough equipment before we even went out there! They said we should call the office to maybe help them out to get some next time! They then said we could see if someone else came out of the water early….but seriously! Needless to say we did not get to go snorkeling! When people started to come back they decided to bring everything in, feed everyone and head back. I could have sat in the sun, drank virgin drinks and ate better food from a Soda on land for much cheaper. My daughter and I were very disappointed and the experience was ruined…..and no one cared! But why would they, they already had my money!
Family had a great experience with Marlin del Rey. Felipe and the crew were fantastic. Very accommodating with all of our needs. The captain did a wonderful job of showing us wildlife on the cruise. Boat was very clean and took us to secluded spot. Snorkeling equipment was sanitized and the crew gave great suggestions. Highly recommend this for the family.
