Vittoriosa, Senglea och Cospicua, kända som Maltas tre städer, är bitar av levande historia som hållits vid liv genom hundratals år av bevarande och enstaka mirakel. De befästa städerna ligger som en trio byar i hjärtat av Maltas historiska centrum, tvärs över Grand Harbour från Valletta.
Marsaxlokk är särskilt känd för de många luzzus i sin hamn. I bakgrunden syns församlingskyrkan Marsaxlokk tillägnad Vår Fru av Rosenkransen - Pompejis Madonna. Traditionell luzzi och andra större och modernare fartyg kantar den skyddade inre hamnen.
Maltas äldsta förhistoriska plats Għar Dalam engagerar besökare att ta en resa till en tid före mänsklig bosättning, när djur som elefanter, flodhästar och kronhjortar strövade omkring i den orörda vildmarken under istiden.
Ganska av ett naturligt underverk, den fantastiska Blue Grotto är ett nätverk av sex grottor, med de mest fantastiska vyer och klaraste vatten de maltesiska öarna har att erbjuda. Idylliskt beläget på södra kusten, är detta en av Maltas mest populära naturattraktioner.
Ħaġar Qim är ett gammalt megalitiskt tempelkomplex på Malta, från 3600–3200 f.Kr., känt för sin imponerande storlek, religiösa och astronomiska linjer och unika arkitektur med hjälp av massiva kalkstensblock. Som ett UNESCO-världsarv har det ett huvudtempel med sammanlänkade kammare och en separat mindre struktur, och är känt för en solståndslinje som framhäver en central sten. Även om dess exakta syfte inte är känt, föreslår forskare att det var en helig plats för ritualer och soldyrkan, vilket framgår av fynd som altare och fertilitetsrelaterade statyetter.
Beläget på Maltas västra kust, på 253 meter över havet är Dingliklipporna den högsta delen av ön. Klipporna blev en populär sevärdhet för turister som besökte Malta, på väg dit för en lugn promenad med utsikt över Filfa och Medelhavet.
Den charmiga staden Rabat (Malta) ligger i den södra delen av Mdina och har ett nätverk av stjärnformade gator och vackra byggnader med traditionella balkonger av trä ”Gallarija”. Staden, som förvandlas från morgon till kväll när turisterna återvänder till sina destinationer, har många attraktioner. Här finns katakomber, kyrkor och romerska mosaiker. Det har också ett välförtjänt gastronomiskt rykte, med kaféer och restauranger som serverar det bästa maltesiska köket. Ett måste när du besöker Malta är att se mosaikerna på Domus Romana, en stor villa från första århundradet f.Kr. som under den arabiska perioden på 1000-talet var täckt av en muslimsk kyrkogård. Ett annat måste är att besöka Sankt Paulus katakomber, från 200-talet f.Kr., som användes för begravningar i 500 år. Du bör också besöka Saint Agathas katakomber.
Mdina är en befäst medeltida stad innesluten i bastioner, som ligger på en stor kulle i centrala Malta. Staden var Maltas gamla huvudstad, och med sina smala gator, få invånare och vackra vyer över ön är det verkligen en magisk stad.

This was a personal tour with just the 2 of us and driver who kindly collected us from our hotel. We went all over Malta to places we chose, he would drop us off and give a rough time as to when to collect us again but was always flexible with the timings. We could have gone over to Gozo if we'd wished but had had WhatsApp contact with our driver and agreed we'd stick to Malta (we did a seperate tour of Gozo). This was all very helpful. We saw everything we wanted to see and our driver dropped us back at our hotel after 8 hours. The car was air conditioned and very comfortable. It's important to take your own information on the sights you are seeing, the driver is essentially just that, he is not a tour guide.

Gerald was prompt. The itinerary was as advertised and I was able to see lot in 4 hours including a beautiful drive which Gerald chose over the faster route. The countryside is gorgeous. My disappointment with the excursion is that while Gerald is a very good driver he knows next to nothing about the sites he took me to. He couldn't answer the most basic questions. He told me he does this almost every day so I would assume other customers have made the same observation. I might have booked it anyway because I had very limited time. Perhaps I should have said I wanted a driver who had some degree of knowledge to share. I just assumed that was a given for a guided tour.

We were absolutely thrilled with this tour. It covers a significant portion of the main sights in Malta. Since we wanted to make the most of our short stay, this was an extremely efficient solution. We covered the remaining highlights (Gozo, Blue Lagoon, etc.) on a second day via a boat trip, which gave us the perfect combination in the end. A big thank you to our very nice driver! He was incredibly flexible and kept us well-informed throughout the drive. Thanks to his interesting facts about the island and his helpful tips on how to manage our time at each stop, the day ran completely smoothly. It was exactly the customized experience we had hoped for.
