Vår 3-timmars guidade cykeltur, morgon eller eftermiddag, tar dig till alla Madrids ikoniska platser och du kan välja den vanliga eller privata rundturen. Avgår från våra kontor som ligger bara 3 minuters bilresa från Madrids nyaste och mest imponerande stadsrenoveringsplan, som förbinder Plaza de España med senatshuset, kungliga palatset, Plaza del Oriente, i ett helt trafikfritt fotgängarområde med dedikerade cykelbanor, Royal Opera House och Almudena-katedralen fortsätter vi på cykelvägar till Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Pradomuseet och Retiroparken och många andra historiska platser. Cykla genom den historiska stadskärnan kan du ta in några pärlor utanför allfartsvägarna och fantastiska bitar av gatukonst. Vi kommer att uppskatta den härliga atmosfären i staden, som äkta madrileños, och du kan njuta av din lugna cykeltur i total avkoppling och säkerhet. Kungliga slottet ligger på platsen för den tidigare Alcázar i Madrid, en medeltida fästning förvandlad till ett överflödigt palats av Juan II, Carlos V och Felipe II, som år 1561 gjorde det till den spanska monarkins officiella bostad. Alcázar förstördes i en eld på julafton 1734. Felipe V bestämde sig sedan för att höja ett nytt kungligt palats på denna sida, där han anställde den bästa arkitekten i Europa, Filippo Juvarra. När Juvarra dog i 1736 gjorde hans elev Giambattista Sacchetti olika förändringar i sitt grandiösa projekt. Paseo del Arte (Art Walk på engelska) är också känd som den gyllene triangeln av konst. Längs en 2 kilometer lång sträcka finns tre av världens finaste konstsamlingar. Detta inkluderar Prado-museet, Thyssen-Bornemisza National Collection och Reina Sofía Museum. Paseo del Arte löper längs den breda, trädkantade boulevarden Paseo del Prado och några av gatorna som kommer ut på den. Tillsammans med Paseo de Recoletos och Paseo de la Castellana bildar Paseo del Prado en lång linje som strömmar norr till söder genom staden. El Retiro Park, som täcker över 125 hektar och omfattar mer än 15 000 träd, är en grön oas i hjärtat av staden. Fantastic e-bike tour by David (Alejandro). He is a wonderful guide, and makes the stops interesting with his stories and info. There's a lot of stops/starts trying to navigate around the crowds and on/off the bikes at the major intersections. There are a couple sections of the tour where you can fly along without disruption, like through the central park by the Prado, but the tour route doesn't lend itself to much of this. There are plenty of stops, we never felt winded or tired, and the e-bikes make it easy to ride - anyone can do it. If you're pedaling hard - you've missed the ON/OFF button on the bike :) This is a great way to see the central sights in Madrid!
Thank you, Chris, for your detailed review of Bravo Bike's Madrid highlight cycle tour. On our itinerary, you will see the most important sites and different districts and parks, with many stops that make time fly. Our top Trek e-bikes make it much easier to ride in a busy city. We also recommend our Parks and river tour, where people can cycle longer stretches without traffic, enjoying nature and visiting places you probably would never reach on foot. The E-bike assistance may switch off at certain stops. The E-bikes are heavy, and without switching on the on-bottom, the 3-H tour might become a bit too strenuous. We had a great few hours riding and learning about the culture and history of Madrid. Alessandro is a great guide and had many stories to tell that make the tour interesting and fun. The meeting point location is easy to find, about a 20 minute walk from where we were staying. The tour gave a great feel for the city

Our guide, Remi, was excellent. Although not a native of Madrid, he knew the city, history, and bike routes very well. In our three hour tour, we saw a great number of sites. It was a fairly hot day, but Remi kept us in the shade most of the time. We were in the Centro but we were mostly on bike friendly streets and paths, very little biking on streets with cars. A highlight was the Retire Park. Biking is the best way to see this large and beautiful park. The e-bikes were very good, easy to use and had sufficient power to get around. Highly recommend this company and Remi in particular.
This was a fabulous bike tour of Madrid! Please do this if you want to see all the main sights and get lots of interesting information. Even on a hot day the biking was easy and stops were always in a shady spot. Our guide was Gomi and I can honestly say he is one of the best guides we have ever had! Thank you for a brilliant 3 hours. My husband was very sad when the tour ended!!
Ismael is a knowledgeable and personable guide. He guided us through a myriad of alleys, parkways and streets with confidence, always checking to keep the group together. The tour operator, Bravo Bikes, provided well conditioned bikes and gave us the option of e- bike or normal. A really fun tour!

I was the only rider for the day but Alvaro still took me out for the full 3 hour day. I’m so glad he did. He’s very knowledgeable about the city and its history. We stopped frequently as he explained what I was seeing. It seemed we rode everywhere in the city and though we rode along with traffic sometimes I never felt uncomfortable. I loved the tour and would highly recommend a different way to see the city.

A bike tour should not be scheduled on Labor Day in Madrid. Way too busy and was not impressed with our guide.
Hello Gordy, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you felt uneasy cycling in Madrid during the May Day public holiday. International Workers' Day is a major event across Europe, and while it brings a busy atmosphere to the city, we cannot close our booking system for every public holiday or event. Navigating a large city like Madrid does require some proficiency on an electric bicycle, especially on busy days like May 1st. Since you were the only two participants, the guide offered your spouse a toilet break only 20 minutes after leaving our shop, which has a clean washroom. Shortly after the toilet/coffee break, you chose to shorten the group itinerary to a third of its usual length, citing your wife's preference for shopping. As a result, you unfortunately missed many significant sights, such as Retiro Park and other historic districts. We appreciate your opinion and will take it into consideration for future tours. Just a heads-up: May 2nd is also a local holiday. Very soon, we will celebrate the fiestas of Patron Saint San Isidro. Indeed, a busy time in Madrid!
If you want to experience Madrid in the most unforgettable way, this bike tour is it. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. Our host was absolutely exceptional; knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the city. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring Madrid with a local friend who knows all the best spots. The ride itself was stunning. We covered so much ground and truly got to see every part of the city, from iconic landmarks to hidden gems I never would have found on my own. Despite the distance, the e-bike made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable, so you can focus on the views rather than the exertion. What really set this tour apart was the blend of sightseeing and storytelling. Along the way, we were treated to fascinating history lessons that brought Madrid to life in a way that walking around on your own simply can’t match. This is hands down the perfect activity if you want to explore the city thoroughly and meaningfully. I’d recommend it without hesitation, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
