Vi hämtar dig från ditt hotell kl. 04.30 och transporterar dig till tågstationen Ollantaytambo, varifrån vårt tåg till Machu Picchu Pueblo avgår kl. 06.10 eller 06.40. Resan tar cirka 1 timme och 50 minuter. Vid ankomsten till Machu Picchu Pueblo, kommer vår transport att vänta på dig att gå ombord på bussen till Machu Picchu, där vi kommer att ta en två timmars guidad tur. Du kommer att ha tid att ta bilder. Tåget tar dig tillbaka till Ollantaytambo kl. 18.20 eller 19.00 och sedan tar vi bussen till Cusco. Vänligen anländ en halvtimme tidigare till Machu Picchu Pueblo tågstationen. Anmärkning: Tågtidtabeller kan variera beroende på bokningstillfället och kommer att tillhandahållas baserat på tågbolagets tillgänglighet. VIKTIGT: Besökare måste lämna platsen inom utsatt tid och får inte återvända när de har lämnat platsen. Klockan 04.30 hämtar vi dig från hotellet och kör dig till tågstationen i staden Ollantaytambo. Här stiger du på tåget till Machu Picchu. Du kommer att njuta av att utforska den fascinerande Heliga dalen i Inkariket, känd för sin naturliga skönhet, som ligger cirka 15 kilometer nordväst om Cusco, längs Urubamba floden. Dalens närhet till Machu Picchu (bara några timmar bort) gör denna resa genom dalen en del av din väg till det berömda Inka citadellet.
Vid ankomsten till staden Aguas Calientes kommer vår transportpersonal att vänta på att ge oss vägbeskrivning, och sedan stiger vi på bussen för uppstigning till Inka citadellet, Machu Picchu. Resan tar cirka 35 minuter. Det är den närmaste staden till det berömda citadellet Machu Picchu, en av världens mest ikoniska turistmål. Det är den perfekta platsen att uppleva den perfekta kombinationen av natur och kultur. Det har en bra infrastruktur för boende och restauranger. När du vandrar genom den lokala marknaden hittar du produkter som textilier, keramik, smycken och souvenirer tillverkade av regionens invånare. Med de närliggande bergen kan du uppleva något utöver ett enkelt turistbesök.
Njut av en guidad rundvandring under de kommande två timmarna. Denna erfarenhet kommer att ge dig en översikt över de viktigaste landmärkena och historien om detta gåtfulla Inka center. Du kommer också att ha extra tid att utforska denna fascinerande plats självständigt, slappna av och ta fotografier. Baserat på din planerade inträdestid till Machu Picchu, här kommer du att upptäcka den historiska och kulturella betydelsen av Machu Picchu. På utsatt tid kliver vi på bussen tillbaka till Aguas Calientes. Väl framme i Aguas Calientes har ni ledig tid för lunch, (egen bekostnad) innan ni tar tåget tillbaka till Ollantaytambo för en ny resa tillbaka till Cusco. Viktigt: Biljetter till Machu Picchu kommer att tilldelas baserat på tillgänglighet vid bokningstillfället. Det första alternativet kommer att vara Machu Picchu Circuit 2 (men vi föreslår att du bokar detta alternativ minst 2 till 3 månader i förväg). När biljetterna till Machupicchu Circuit 2 är slutsålda, kommer vi att tilldela dig antingen Machupicchu Circuit 1 eller Machupicchu Circuit 3.

We had an incredible experience visiting Machu Picchu, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Roy Quispe Humanaco. From the start, you could tell how knowledgeable and passionate he was about the history and culture of the area. He didn’t just walk us through the site—he brought it to life. Every stop had meaning, and he did a great job explaining things in a way that was easy to understand without feeling like a lecture. He also did a great job pacing the tour. We never felt rushed, and he made sure we had time to take everything in, ask questions, and get some great photos along the way. He also went above and beyond helping us capture the experience. He knew exactly where the best photo spots were, helped line up great shots, and even took videos for us so we could actually be in the moment instead of worrying about capturing it. Those little things made a big difference and gave us memories we’ll keep forever. What really stood out was how much he cared about making it a great experience for us specifically. I traveled to Peru with my whole family from the USA to spend quality time together and enjoy nature, including one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu. We booked the full-day Machu Picchu tour and the Sacred Valley tour, and it was truly an amazing experience. From the very first day, the team at Tikas Peru was incredibly flexible with our needs and explained everything in detail, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. During our visit to Machu Picchu, we had plenty of time to learn from the guide and also enjoy free time to take lots of pictures. The next day, we explored the Sacred Valley. Our guides were Michael and Ferdinand and they were fantastic and very patient. We had a group of children ages 6-17 and adults and the guides were extremely patient with the children. Michael especially did a great job engaging the children with facts and stories about the sites we visited. They were informative and friendly. They did a good job adjusting the pace based on the weather and how the group was feeling. We enjoyed getting to know them. We booked with them a few months prior to our trip and they communicated well and set up a fantastic trip for us. They were accommodating and went above and beyond to help us. They were our guides for the trip itself and not just the historic sites. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!
