Upptäck ett av världens 7 underverk, Machu Picchu, på denna spännande endagsutflykt som börjar med din ankomst till Inkarikets antika huvudstad Cusco. Du kommer att resa genom de höga Andinska bergen och de mystiska molnskogarna ombord på ett tåg som tar dig till staden Aguas Calientes. Därifrån går du till det antika citadellet vid din ankomst till den tidigare inkahuvudstaden för att utforska ruinerna med hjälp av vår professionella guide, som kommer att berätta om dess historia och betydelse för inkafolket. Du kommer också att ha ledig tid att utforska staden Aguas Calientes.

Tidigt på morgonen, enligt överenskommelse, hämtar vi dig från ditt hotell och tar dig till Ollantaytambo tågstation, varifrån vi åker till Aguas Calientes.
Efter en nästan 2 timmars resa från Ollantaytambo kommer vi fram till Aguas Calientes station, där vår guide väntar på dig med en skylt med ditt namn.
Sedan går vi till busshållplatsen, där vi kommer att stiga i 30 minuter och 400 meter längs en sicksackväg för att nå "den historiska helgedomen Machu Picchu", även känd som "Inkarikets förlorade stad". Vid ankomsten till Machu Picchu citadellet börjar vi den guidade turen, tillsammans med vår guide. Under cirka 2 timmar och 30 minuter kommer vi att besöka de viktigaste platserna i Machu Picchu.
Efter den guidade turen återvänder vi till staden Aguas Calientes, där du kan njuta av din lunch på någon av de många restaurangerna eller, om du föredrar det, på Sanctuary Lodge (lunch på egen hand). På sen eftermiddag tar vi tåget tillbaka till Ollantaytambo och följer samma rutt som på vägen dit.

Our experience with Peru Grand Travel throughout the trip through Peru was impeccable. All the activities were very well organized and we didn't have to worry about anything, just to enjoy the beautiful landscapes. The trip to Machu Picchu was very well planned in every detail, including the choice of seats on the train to Aguas Calientes to enjoy the wonderful view. The guide Carmen accompanied us on our visit to Machu Picchu. He did the whole script giving various explanations, always calmly and even took beautiful photos for us!

The tour requires planning and preparation as it is a full-day tour, especially if you are with children. Support and information were essential. We love the experience.

We made the tour to Machu Picchu and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The guide demonstrated an impressive knowledge, explaining the history and details of the place in a clear and engaging way, which made all the difference in the visit. In addition, the travel operator was extremely attentive, always providing quick and efficient support before and during the ride, which brought a lot of tranquility to the whole experience.
