På denna heldagstur kommer du att utforska det vackra inkacitadellet i Machu Picchu. Citadellet har häpnadsväckande monument som huvudtemplet, kondortemplet och Intihuatana.

Vi hämtar dig från ditt hotell i Cusco tidigt på morgonen. Sedan kör vi till Ollantaytambo.
Vi kommer att köra genom Inkaernas heliga dal. Vårt mål blir den lilla staden Ollantaytambo. Där tar vi tåget till Aguas Calientes.
Vi går ombord på tåget till Aguas Calientes vid Ollantaytambo tågstation.
När vi når Aguas Calientes tar vi en buss till Machu Picchu citadellet.
Väl i Machu Picchu citadellet kommer vår guide att ge dig en rundtur på platsen, inklusive de mest kända monumenten som Intihuatana, Condor Temple, Main Temple och Sun Temple.
Efter att ha utforskat Machu Picchu tar vi en buss tillbaka till staden Aguas Calientes. Väl där har vi tid att utforska staden och äta lunch. Sedan tar vi ett tåg tillbaka till Ollantaytambo.
När vi anländer till Ollantaytambo kommer vår personal att överföra dig tillbaka till Cusco i vårt privata fordon.
Efter att ha lämnat Ollantaytambo, kör vi tillbaka till Cusco genom Inkaernas heliga dal.
Vi anländer till Cusco runt 20.00.

Our guide was Juan de Dios, and he was the best tour guide we could ask for! He was super clear and organized with directions on where to go, where to meet, what time we enter / exit each Inca ruin, etc. Juan was also incredibly knowledgeable about Machu Picchu and the other ruins we visited like Ollantaytambo or Moray. He explained the differences between pre-Inca, Incan vs Incan imperial style architecture and pointed out examples, and for each ruin also gave a history of the peoples and events that occurred in each place. Juan also taught us the Quechua names for most of these as well! Overall, Juan was the best guide we could ask for, and I would highly recommend Inka Trail Explorer
Juan de Dios was our tour guide, and he always went above and beyond to help us learn and make us comfortable. He has been so patient and kind to us. He is like an encyclopedia of Peruvian history. We like to call him professor. He took us to so many different places and highlighted the importance of each place. He has a heart of gold and made our trip the most amazing experience. Highly recommend booking with the Juan and only! ☺️
My friends and I (group of 5!) came to Cusco and had Juan de Dios as our tour guide for 4 days. One day we did a city tour, then sacred valley, then Machu Picchu. We added the sanctuary. It was a beautiful experience. Juan really made me feel like he cared about my friends and me, he shared so much about Incan history and about himself. I LOVED him as a tour guide and will definitely recommend all my friends who come to Peru in the future. Juan is amazing.
