Din dag börjar med upphämtning från Arusha, Moshi eller närliggande områden innan du kör till Materuni Village på de frodiga foten av Mount Kilimanjaro. Njut av en guidad promenad genom bananodlingar, kaffeplantager och tropisk regnskog som leder till det spektakulära 80 meter höga vattenfallet Materuni. Längs leden delar din Guide med sig av insikter om Chaggakulturen, bylivet, lokala jordbrukstraditioner och den omgivande naturen. På klara dagar finns det också en chans att njuta av vacker utsikt över Mount Kilimanjaro. Efter vandringen återvänder du till byn för en interaktiv Chagga kaffeupplevelse där du får lära dig hur kaffe odlas, rostas, mals och tillagas med traditionella metoder. Gästerna inbjuds att delta i processen medan de njuter av lokala sånger, danser och nybryggt ekologiskt kaffe från byn. En traditionell lokal lunch serveras innan du fortsätter till din kulturella upplevelse.
Efter Materuni, fortsätt till Ewangani Maasai Village, är mer tillgänglig och erbjuder en lätt introduktion till massajkulturen. Upplevelsen arrangeras av lokala massajmedlemmar och inkluderar traditionella hem, danser, pärlarbeten, boskapskultur, eldningstekniker och berättande om massajtraditioner. This was a great excursion and our guide Pemba was very knowledgeable!! The people of the Maasai village were so welcoming and we enjoyed being fully immersed into their culture. We learned so much from them! The hot springs were also enjoyable, but know that if you need goggles or a raft you will have to pay extra once there.
The tour was excellent, and my guide Mpemba was great too! The hike to the waterfall is beautiful; I was able to see chameleons and exotic fruits. We ate delicious native food and made our own coffee. The day was a bit cloudy, but in the end, we were able to see Kilimanjaro, and the guide made sure to take me to the best spot to see it well and take photos. I recommend it 100%!

8 days of safari at its finest, were just two with our driver and guide Samuel from Beach Safari. Every day a highlight, always in the morning! A clean car, despite great mud rides. After Arusha NP , Tarangire and Lake Manyara, we were in the midst of the remigration of felt millions of wildebeest. Samuel also knew where to find the lion families, the chitas and leopards. Highlights in the Ngogoro Crater 4 Rhinos and to top it off came 3 white or bright Rhinos, which even Samuel is astonished by, as it has not seen them for years. The Maasai's show was interesting and was mainly for financial support. Surprisingly the very good all-inclusive food, with emphasis on sustainability without disposable dishes. The accommodations , both hotel and tent were great. A total of 5 stars for the trip and another extra star for Samuel. Herwig & Brigitte

So we thought it will be a group of people taken to Masai village but it turns out it was only us 4. For the whole village to make a dancing show etc. Wonderful experience. Expect to buy some souvenirs from locals at the village, or make little donation.
