Tremezzina ligger på Comosjöns västra strand, mittemot Bellagio, och är resultatet av en nyligen sammanslagning av kommunerna Lenno, Mezzegra, Ossuccio och Tremezzo. Att besöka Tremezzina innebär att ha möjlighet att njuta av en plats rik på atmosfär, historia och attraktioner. Till exempel ... visste du att några scener från Star Wars filmades här? Bland de viktigaste måste-se, faktiskt, Tremezzina är hem till två av de vackraste villorna vid Comosjön: Villa Balbianelllo, som för stora internationella filmer och även bröllop, och Villa Carlotta, ett museum och en botanisk trädgård. Vid mitt första besök i Comosjön och Bellagio 2011 började jag utforska och fann att det bara var en kort promenad till Pescallo. Promenaden till Pescallo kan vara kort men det är inte så enkelt. För alla som har svårt att navigera i steg eller ojämna gångvägar är denna vandring definitivt inte för dig. Även om Bellagio ligger vid vattnet, är staden byggd på en kulle.
Vi kommer att se denna vackra villa vid vattnet. Antalet långfilmer har använt villan för platsinspelning, inklusive A Month by the Lake (1995), His Demise med Paul Zukowski (katastroffilm 2016), Casino Royale (2006). Villan användes också för sjöretreatscenerna i Star Wars: Episod II Attack of the Clones (2002), med datorgenererade bilder som användes i stället för byggnadens verkliga exteriör.

What an awesome way to view the highlights of Lake Como! Our tour guide, Fabio, was excellent. He took us from our hotel dock to many of the great sights including Villa Balbianello, Lenno, Bellagio, and Varena. The tour was filled with a wealth of information and sights around the central lake area and I would highly recommend this tour.
Mateu did an excellent job of showing me the towns and villas, including waterfalls. He explained the histories and current uses of the estates and gardens. Boats2Go was kind enough to provide the non-alcoholic version of Sauvignon Blanc and water.

Our Lake Como boat tour was fabulous! It was a beautiful and unforgettable day for our best friends’ group. Capt Fabio was the best! His love for the water and knowledge as a guide was obvious. Today we enjoyed the MOST fabulous 3 hour private wooden boat tour with our wonderful tour guide Fabio. We are a family of 7 (myself and my husband along with our 4 adult children (20’s & 30) and 10 month grandson). This boat trip was a delight for every member of our family - Fabio was incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the lake towns and its numerous & magnificent villas. Today’s beautiful trip around the lake will be a memory we talk about for years to come. We can’t thank Fabio enough for how considerate he was accommodating us with a stop for the baby. We went on the 2 hour private tour of Lake Como and could not have been happier with the experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He stopped often and took beautiful pictures of our group. This is a must if you are visiting Bellagio!

Fabio explained the history of the places and the lake he was so friendly and helpful we would highly recommend Boat 2 go exceptional service and many trips to choose from. We did think about hiring a boat ourselves but the lake is so vast we definitely made the right choice we saw everything
