Denna attack drog USA in i andra världskriget.

Overall, the service was fine, but where there were some issues that were not laid out in the reservation or that affected our ability to explore the memorial. Our pick up time was at 12:30 by the time we had picked up the other two groups we didn’t get to the memorial until 130. With our 230 boat tickets, we were urged to rush to the film before getting on our boat to go to the memorial. After we returned from the memorial, we didn’t have nearly enough time to visit the museums or the submarine. My daughter likes to do the junior Ranger program. And we had a pick up time at 4 PM by the time we were done seeing the memorial it was 315. We were barely able to finish up the junior Ranger booklet get our badge and regroup with the Van. Then we went on some impromptu hour long city tour that was not in the reservation initial description. I would have rather spent the extra hour at the memorial. And not driving around the city. Yes it was cool seeing historical spots, but it was just slow crawling past them with unnecessary onetime stories about them. The driver was nice, but he was a long winded. Again overall, it was fine. But I would would’ve rather used the last hour to stay at the memorial instead of drive around on the van for an unplanned seemingly random city tour. I know y’all do the city tours, but it was not part of what I booked when I made this Pearl Harbor reservation.
Dear Client, Aloha Thank You for giving us the opportunity to serve you. The tour you booked is designed around the Arizona Memorial program and includes transportation, orientation, reserved Arizona Memorial tickets, and a narrated drive through historic Honolulu on the return to Waikiki. The primary focus of the tour is the Arizona Memorial experience rather than a comprehensive visit to all Pearl Harbor attractions. Your 2:30 PM Arizona Memorial reservation time was assigned by the National Park Service. As with all Arizona Memorial reservations, guests are encouraged to view the documentary before their scheduled boat departure whenever possible. The timing of the memorial program naturally limits the amount of free time available before and after the reservation. The USS Bowfin submarine, and Junior Ranger activities are separate attractions that many guests choose to visit. However, completing all of those experiences in addition to the Arizona Memorial program is generally not possible within the schedule of this particular tour. Guests seeking extended time at Pearl Harbor often choose one of the longer Pearl Harbor packages specifically designed for additional museum and exhibit visits. The Honolulu portion of the tour is a narrated drive through historic areas of the city during the return to Waikiki. This has long been part of the experience and provides additional historical context related to the events of December 7, 1941 and Hawaii's history.
The information said I would be picked up in a limo. I wasn’t. It was a van our guide Vanessa was nice but all the information she had was the exact same as the video once we arrived at Pearl Harbor. Afterwards, she did have some good information about the town. Luxury tour absolutely not.
Dear Marcia, Aloha Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. To clarify, the tour description does not state that transportation is provided by limousine. The tour is operated in luxury vehicles, which may include luxury vans, SUVs, or other premium vehicles depending on the size of the group and operational requirements. At no point in the tour description is a limousine specifically advertised or guaranteed. Regarding the narration, Pearl Harbor visitors receive information from several sources throughout their visit, including the National Park Service documentary and exhibits. The driver was with you everywhere they are legally allowed to be. Pearl Harbor is a Memorial and there are places where it is illegal for the driver to go or to even talk to you. On the way to and from Pearl Harbor the driver can provide historical background and local context before and after the memorial visit. As you noted, she also shared additional information about Honolulu and the surrounding area during the return journey. The focus of this tour is providing a comfortable small-group experience with reserved Arizona Memorial tickets and transportation. While we understand that different guests may have different expectations of what constitutes "luxury," the vehicle provided was consistent with the tour as advertised.
Vanessa was fun and so knowledgeable! She not only was kind and fun to be with, she also did an amazing job!
It was nice to be with a small group of people for the tour. The driver was courteous and friendly.
Pearl Harbor is a beautiful site. But be careful as it is a memorial so treat it with respect. Vanessa was fantastic tour guide.
Such a moving experience visiting the resting place of those that perished on December 7th. A walk through history.
Dear Client, Aloha Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. The experience at Pearl Harbor National Memorial is indeed a powerful and historic one, and we’re glad that came through during your visit. That said, the weather is beyond our control. This review is unfair as you major issue is with the weather. We do not control the weather. Once again, thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
Pick up at start of trip was delayed (we waited 40 minutes). Air conditioning in van was not functioning. Very little history of the Pearl Harbor story was provided by tour guide/driver. While a friendly guy, he rambled about disconnected topics. Not sure why this was called a luxurious tour.
Dear Susan, Aloha, Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Your group was transported in a tour van as part of a small group, not a large shuttle bus with dozens of passengers. Group size is limited accordingly, and the experience is not comparable to a 60-person bus environment. On timing—pickup windows are estimates, not exact times. There is a 30 minute window for pickups, so really the driver was no more than 10 minutes delayed. Traffic, prior pickups, and road conditions can cause delays. A 10-minute delay is not typical, but it is also not outside what can occur under real-world conditions. The vehicle’s air conditioning was operational. That said, it was a hot day, and vehicles that have been in direct sun take time to cool down. Even with AC running at full capacity, it can feel warm initially, especially during pickup periods. Regarding narration—this is not a fully guided historical tour inside Pearl Harbor. Drivers provide general commentary during transit. Once at the site, guests explore independently, as the exhibits and memorial program are operated by the National Park Service and the United States Navy. “Luxury” in this context refers to small-group transportation and handled logistics, including managing the reserved ticket for the Arizona Memorial, not a lecture-style, in-depth historical presentation. The service was delivered as described. Once again, thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
This was not a tour of Arizona Memorial. And definitely not a luxury tour. It was basically getting dropped off and picked up from the memorial. We were provided tickets to get on the boat that goes out to the Arizona. There was no tour. We were provided water and juice. 13 people plus the driver crammed in the van. Driver had a microphone and speaker but we couldn't hear him at all. He picked us up after we saw the memorial and proceeded to drive around the residential areas East of Honolulu. Again, we couldn't hear him talk so we were confused why were driving around. After a while, my Brother asked him if we'd be getting back to our hotels soon as he is diabetic and would need medication soon. The driver responded with, "this is the tour listed on your itinerary." I looked it up. There was NO tour listed on our itinerary. Then he said, "ya, after a few more sites, I'll get you back to your hotel." When we finally arrived at our hotel, driver says to the other passengers, "You all knew there was a tour after...?" Then an elderly lady with a walker tried to get out so our group could get out. Driver rudely says to the lady, "Why are you getting out?" My brother asks the driver for his name to which he responded, "You're a jerk." My opinion, this was all handled very unprofessional. I do not recommend this "luxury tour" or this driver.
Dear Connie, Aloha, Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. The service you describe is exactly what this tour is: transportation, coordination, and access to the Arizona Memorial—not a guided, in-depth walking tour inside the site which is against Federal law. That has always been the scope of the experience. Your group was transported in a van with only 14 passengers. It was not overcrowded beyond vehicle limits, and this was not a large shuttle bus environment. Water and juice were provided as part of the service. On the narration—drivers do provide commentary during transit. If you were unable to hear clearly, that can happen depending on seating and ambient noise, but the equipment was in use. The drive after Pearl Harbor is part of the itinerary. This is not just a drop-off and immediate return service. The route includes additional areas before hotel return. That is consistent with how the tour is structured. Regarding timing concerns, your group was returned to the hotel. If there were specific medical needs requiring an expedited return, those need to be clearly communicated in advance or directly and constructively to the driver so adjustments can be considered where possible. It should also be noted that there were multiple instances of disruptive and confrontational behavior from your group toward the driver during the tour. That context is relevant when describing how interactions unfolded. The tour was provided as described. Once again, thank you fro giving us the opportunity to serve you.
Vanessa was fun and very knowledgeable about what happened on December 7, 1941 as well as additional information about the island and its history. I think everybody that visits the island should take the time to visit Pearl Harbor. Thank you for a wonderful experience
It was ok. Not really the experience we thought it would be. At the Arizona memorial you are herded in and out really quickly. And we were left in a hot closed up bus with no air con running while the driver was outside talking to someone. I wouldn’t recommend.
Dear Leanne, Aloha Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. The Arizona Memorial is most visited attraction on the Island of Oahu, if not Hawaii. The Memorial sees thousands of visitors per day. It should be clear that the Park Service need to be able to bring people through in a safe and efficient manner. The AC in the van was not on because while waiting for everyone to board the van, Federal law states that vehicles cannot idle so the AC cannot be switched on until the vehicle starts. Which is not more than a few minutes in order to load everyone up, do a head count and report to dispatch...
