En av våra mest populära turer: Luxemburg är verkligen en modern och levande stad med en rik historia och imponerande antik och samtida arkitektur. I den gamla delen av Luxemburg tar vår guide dig till katedralen, Storhertigpalatset och Place d’Armes. I centrala Luxemburg kan du njuta av en spektakulär utsikt över distriktet Kirchberg, hem för flera europeiska institutioner. I dalen kommer du att kunna se ett spår av Kasematerna, klostret Neumünster, stadsmuren och de pittoreska platserna längs floden Alzette. Efter lite ledig tid i staden kommer du att utforska den pittoreska staden Dinant, med dess kollegiala kyrka från 1400-talet och dess imponerande citadell. Dinants namn kommer från det keltiska "Divo Nanto", som betyder "Heliga dalen". Denna lilla stad ligger dramatiskt uppe på de smala stränderna av floden MeuseI. Detta är Leffe-ölets vagga och födelseplatsen för Adolphe Sax, saxofonens uppfinnare.

Du kommer förbi Storhertigpalatset, den officiella residens för storhertigen av Luxemburg, och där han utför de flesta av sina uppgifter som statschef i Storhertigdömet. Gamla delen av renässansen (1572), mellandelen (1741) av barock och renässansstil och höger Kammarkollegiet (1858).
Du kommer att besöka denna före detta jesuitkyrka från 1600-talet i barock- och renässansstil med gotiska inslag. Till vänster om långhuset, ett forum tillägnat storhertigfamiljen. Jesuiternas högskola i anslutning till katedralen blev National Library.
Du besöker Neumünster Abbey, en offentlig mötesplats och kulturellt centrum, som ligger i stadsdelen Grund i Luxemburg i södra Luxemburg. Efter att det ursprungliga benediktinerklostret på Altmünsterplatån hade förstörts 1542, byggde munkarna ett nytt kloster eller "Neumünster" 1606 i Grund.
Storhertiginnan Charlotte Bridge i rött målat stål (1966) korsar Alzette. Vänster Municipal Theater (1964) och höger Monument Schuman (Fadern i Europa).
Europeiska centrumet Kirchberg 1966 med sina 23 våningar är Europaparlamentets säte. Ministerrådets Schuman Center-huvudkontor.
På vägen tillbaka från Luxemburg till Bryssel besöker du Dinant vid floden Meuses strand Dinant gav sitt namn åt mässingsvarorna: kopparföremål. Specialitet: kex eller kex med honung.
Lyft blicken mot Citadelle och Collegiate-kyrkans lökkupoltorn, alla framhävda av bandet av hus och butiker som löper längs floden.
Dinant är födelseplatsen för Adolphe Sax (1814) uppfinnaren av saxofonen, och på din resa kommer du att besöka det historiska museet som är tillägnat honom.

This tour is excellent if you prefer a shorter visit to Luxembourg. You have a few hours to freely tour, and at least one hour to spend touring Dinant. Dinant is a beautiful small town and I consider it a bonus to have had a chance, through this tour, to visit a second Belgium city outside of Brussels. If you arrive before 5 pm to Dinant, and you want a panoramic view, make a beeline to entry to the citadel before they close for the day! It is worth it! :D

This is a beautiful city and the tour is excellent. However, it takes a lot of walking. Nico (tour guide) was also very good.
The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a good history lesson on the history of Luxembourg and it's connection to Belgium and the Netherlands. It was a full day and we felt that we got our moneys worth. The only down side is the fact that you need to pay to use the toilets in Belgium and there were very few free ones throughout the day. This is not the fault of the tour itself, but a fault with the entire country which doesn't see anything wrong with charging tourists to use the toilet. This would never be an issue in countries that have free toilets. Luxembourg and southern Belgium is very pretty with forests and valleys.

Very pleasant and informative tour. We were blessed with beautiful weather and lovely guide. Beautiful and clean, with lots of toilet opportunities, just ask your guide! 😆 Lots of photo opportunities. I loved Dinant, not a place I had heard about before, and was very impressed.
The guide, Andrea and the bus driver, Mohammed, were great. Andrea effortlessly switched from English to Spanish and was full of knowledge. She was also warm and thoughtful to people on the tour's needs. The pace of the tour was great with enough time spent in Luxembourg City and in Dinant and I would highly recommend this trip - especially if they have Andrea and the excellent driver, Mohammed too.
You spend a lot of time on the bus but is very interesting. Once you get there and our guide was fantastic

If you want to travel to Luxembourg in an easy and exciting way, this should be the tripp. The guide was very good, and told a lot of interesting things. Dinant was also a nice place worth visiting
