Ditt äventyr börjar när du möts av en lokal professionell guide, de kommer att möta dig i lobbyn på ditt hotell och ge dig ut på en tvåtimmars vandringstur för att upptäcka stadens höjdpunkter. Förundras över den slående Luzerns järnvägsstation, känd för sin magnifika entréhall och eleganta svängda tak, ett mästerverk skapat av den hyllade arkitekten Santiago Calatrava. När du promenerar förbi stationen kommer du att möta den förtrollande kapellbron (Kapellbrücke) och vattentornet, som går tillbaka till 1300-talet, vilket gör den till Europas äldsta täckta träspång. Upptäck Jesuitkyrkan (Jesuitenkirche) längs strandpromenaden vid Reuss-floden, en imponerande kyrka i barockstil som är genomsyrad av historia. Fortsätt din utforskning genom de välbevarade gränderna i Gamla stan. Din guidade tur kulminerar vid Luzerns gripande monument för döende lejon, en dyster skulptur som hyllar de schweiziska gardena som omkom under franska revolutionen i Paris 1792.

Du kommer att beundra varje ögonblick som går över Europas äldsta bevarade träbro med anor från 1300-talet. Denna gångbro innehåller flera målningar med anor från 1600-talet. En del av denna blomstrande bro förstördes delvis av en brand som orsakades 1993, men återuppbyggdes senare.
Fortsätter resan genom Luzerns välbevarade vägar i Gamla stan, vilket definitivt kommer att förvåna turister från hela världen. Liggande mellan stadshuset och Kapellbron. I just wanted to come here and thank Payam our driver/guide for giving us a wonderful day exploring 4 Countries. Yes - it was long, but we enjoyed it right up to the end. It was absolutely amazing seeing a little of Lichtenstein, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland all in one day. Yes - in each place - I wish I had more time, but it gave me enough time to see each beautiful place and learn some interesting facts from Payam. Beyond a fabulous experience! We spent 2 days driving from Zurich to Mount Pilatus and Lucerne and the second day to Mount Titlus and Interkocken. Paul was our guide and provided endless historical knowledge from the area. Beautiful car and everything in time and relaxing. The scenery was gorgeous! Payam picked us up in Zurich our 3rd day to travel to Basel. He turned us on to several unique spots that we will remember forever. 10/10 experience!

Kayleigh was our guide this morning for a two hour walking tour of Lucerne. As with all employees of AlpExcursions, she promptly met us at the designated location. Kayleigh’s walking tour was outstanding. We covered many of Lucerne’s historic landmarks and its old town area. Kayleigh is a Canadian who moved to Switzerland five of so years ago, but her knowledge of Lucerne was at the level of a native. She has a fun and energetic personality and it was a great pleasure to spend a couple of hours with her. This walking tour was our second of our trip to Switzerland. Both guides were provided by AlpExcursions which is highly recommended to all.
