Lucca: Vandring för att upptäcka staden med 100 kyrkor
Beskrivning
En 2,5 timmars vandringstur i Luccas historiska centrum, inklusive INGÅNG och GUIDADE BESÖK till katedralen San Martino och basilikan San Frediano. Längs kullerstensgator, bland herrgårdar, avkortade torn och gamla torg ska jag berätta historierna om den toskanska staden som aldrig styrdes av Medici-familjen, och jag ska ge dig tips om var du kan smaka Luccas specialiteter. Vi börjar från Piazza Anfiteatro, ett populärt resmål för dem som vill njuta av en aperitif i en charmig atmosfär, och beger oss mot de imponerande renässansmurarna. Vi kommer att besöka interiören i basilikan San Frediano där jag kommer att berätta historien om det "heliga ansiktet" och Luccas skyddshelgon. Därifrån går vi längs Via Fillungo, shoppinggatan, upp till kyrkan San Michele. För de som gillar sötsaker kan vi provsmaka Buccellato där. När vi passerar Piazza Napoleone kommer jag att berätta dess historia och sedan tar vi oss till katedralen i San Martino. Inuti ska jag berätta historien om monumentet över Ilaria del Carretto.

Vi beger oss till murarna vid Baluardo di San Frediano. Luccas murar, som finns med på UNESCOs världsarvslista, är de bäst bevarade renässansmurarna som kan ses i Toscana.

I San Michele in Foro kommer jag först att berätta historien om dess segelformade fasad och de fantastiska djuren som avbildas där, sedan besöker vi dess interiör.

We hardly planned to stay in Lucca and knew nothing about the city, but we heeded Elena's recommendation - and didn't regret it one bit! Turns out there's so much to like: unusual stories, legends and amazing historical facts. Elena is an excellently trained guide, she knows an incredible amount and can tell stories in a way that makes you listen with pleasure. Definitely recommended!

Our friendly and very competent guide Elena took us here and there through the historic center of Lucca on the trail of the path of the Holy Face. The tour, which lasted almost 3 hours, was complete and exhaustive. Experience much appreciated and recommended.
Our guide elena was very nice and engaging in her 2.5 hour tour even further inside the historic center of Lucca. He illustrated history, art, rivalries and some anecdotes in a concise but complete way and some legends. I recommend this type of experience for an immersive city tour.

The guided tour was fantastic, as well as having been lucky with the weather the ride was exciting. Unexpected is the fact that a small town like Lucca can offer so much history, curious facts and anecdotes handed down for centuries. Elena told everything in detail, also answering questions that arose during the tour. In addition to visiting the city inside the walls and the churches indicated in the description, Elena recommended several places where you can taste the local cuisine of excellent quality.

Magnificent city, rich in history. Pleasant ride with several historical anecdotes. Competent guide and able to answer many questions. Pleasant surprise.
Elena guided us to visit the three most important churches in Lucca and made us discover things that we would never have noticed on our own. Very prepared, always with a big smile and a nice foreign accent, the visit of Lucca flows away easily between art, history and some light legends about Lucca and the Luccans. Very helpful, waited for us even though we were very late! During the tour he also gave us good recommendations on restaurants and other places to visit around Lucca. Highly recommended!
