Louvren: konst och kärlek lyfter fram mycket speciella aspekter av mästerverk som ofta förbises. Konst- och kulturhistoria är också kärlekshistoria, och kärlek finns i många olika former. Denna turné utforskar mycket viktiga och inflytelserika men ofta förbisedda aspekter av Eros som är BDSM (bondage, domination, sadomasochism). Vi försöker kasta ett ljus på de krafter som skapade västerländsk konst, särskilt katolicismen, dess martyrkult och vördnad av smärta. Vi dyker djupt in i historien om sann innebörd av vilken passion för att förstå sammanhanget och den sanna inspirationen bakom några av de största konstverken som någonsin skapats.
Vi möter dig vid Arc du Carrousel mellan Louvren och Tuileriets trädgårdar för att tillsammans kliva in i museet. Turen kommer att handla om ett femtontal mästerverk kända eller mindre kända, för att ge utrymme och hänsyn även till gamla mästare som kastats bort från de främsta turistvägarna. Turen kan avslutas in i museet, för att låta besökarna fria att fortsätta besöket själva.

This tour was so inspiring and thought provoking, I was expecting something different from a general museum tour and it did not disappoint! It was so informative but also we were encouraged to discuss the ideas presented as well.
The Louvre is an overwhelming place and touring with Barbara was the best way possible to learn about the history of the Museum and its masterpieces. Not only Barbara brought us to see the masterpieces of the Museum, but also the less known (and crowded) areas. Definitely, something we would never have seen if not because of our guide! Do not hesitate: book this tour!
