Louvren är en unik och enorm plats, som rekommenderas att besöka med en professionell turistguide åtminstone under det allra första besöket. Jag avslutade en gymnasieskola i Louvren (Ecole du Louvre) som tillät mig att ha exakt information om museet och dess föremål, såväl som förmågan att visa dig inte bara de mest kända verken som många andra guider gör, utan också några gömda föremål som inte finns med i riktlinjerna för museet. I Louvre-museet börjar vi med att titta på de gamla murarna i en krigarslott från 1200-talet som var Louvre. Vi fortsätter vår turné i Creek-delen av museet, förstår nödvändigheten av attribut för grekiska skulpturer och diskuterar på Venus of Milo. Vi besöker sedan en av de första tronhallarna i renässansperioden, med så berömda föremål som Caryatids, Threes Graces och några mer fascinerande skulpturer som går tillbaka till 500 f.Kr. Vi kommer än att gå till målningsavdelningen i renässansen, se hallen där Napoleon firade sitt äktenskap med Josephine, fortsätter i Grande Galerie i Louvre med italiensk målning. Kommer att upptäcka en av museets mest otrevliga bilder och beundrar de stora målningarna från XIX-talet. Jag kommer då att visa dig ett italiensk mästerverk som inte citeras i guideböcker men helt hisnande. Och vi kommer att avsluta vårt besök i lyxig lägenhet i Napoleon III.

We waited for over an hour at the designated meeting place and the tour guide did not show up! Do NOT book this tour. Fraudulent!!!
Alice was a no-show for our tour. We have requested our money back but she hasn’t responded to that either. Would definitely NOT recommend this tour. Fortunately we were able to get general admission tickets to the museum 3 hours later after they opened up more ticket sales. But we weren’t able to book any sort of guided tour because it was too late. It was a very stressful, disappointing morning for our once in a lifetime trip.
Deceitful and unprofessional. Think twice before booking this tour. Alice will ask you nicely if it is okay for you to buy tickets for the time they prefer. You cannot say no EVEN if the time she prefers is no longer available at any merchant or official website of the Louvre. We bought the nearest time to her preferred time because that was the closest available. Alice knew from day 1 of booking her that we were holding entry times different from her preferred time. She is the tour guide, we are just the people paying her to tour us so if she says 11AM she will wait at the last minute to tell you that she cannot do the tour and we cannot refund our payment. BEWARE
Alice was a phenomenal guide on my very visit to The Louvre. She has a really pleasant voice to listen to, and is knowledgeable. She provided the information in such a digestible way to a place that is so magnificent and overwhelming. She didn't even ask for us to share a review, but since I was on TripAdvisor writing a review for another tour, I decided to look up her tour and write a review since I was so impressed.
