En av många attraktioner på denna matvandringstur är Brigham Youngs hem vid vår utgångspunkt. Vi träffas och börjar med att prata om SLC:s och Utahs historia. Vi besöker, slår oss ner och smakar på 4 restauranger i centrum. Mellan restaurangstoppen fortsätter vi att prata om kulturen och historien.
Denna attraktion ingår med många andra på denna matvandringstur. Vi kommer att berätta om folket som började och bosatte sig i SLC UT, såväl som mormonkulturen. Du får en chans att lära dig om de tidiga pionjärerna som var avgörande för silverrushen, järnvägar och industri här i Utah. Vi kommer att berätta hur SLC UT kommer att bli den främsta platsen inom teknisk industri under de närmaste åren. Du kommer också att lära dig om de många olika viktiga uppfinningarna här i vår delstat Utah.

We visited 4 different restaurants/ice cream parlor. All were good and there was ample food. However, the tour itself was not as described, unless there was a misunderstanding. There was no visit to Beehive House ( admission included was listed in the tour itinerary). We thought there would be more history incorporated in the tour. Moe (tour guide)was very personable but we were expecting a different experience.

Our Food Walking Tour is designed to emphasize local food with highlights of Salt Lake City’s history rather than serving as a dedicated historical tour. If you’re ever back in Salt Lake City, I’d be happy to recommend a friend of mine that focuses much more extensively on the city’s history.

If you want to support a non-profit while enjoying excellent food and conversation, this tour is for you! We appreciated tasting three different cuisines plus dessert in our relaxing walking tour of downtown Salt Lake City. Our guide, Maxwell, walked us through the history of the city and explained how the downtown has transformed over the past 20 years. Each restaurant was a unique international flavor and we enjoyed discovering they are small family run businesses. This tour was an experience that would be perfect for someone just starting their visit to SLC as it gave us the lay of the land and we came away from the tour having many more interesting places to explore. While we were on the tour, our guide shared the unique connection to the non-profit that supports a local community outreach. So cool to be able to enjoy good food while doing good for the community.
Very frustrating to drive downtown, pay for parking and then wait 30 minutes for a tour guide that failed to show up.

Our guide Maxwell was amazing. The tour was a good value, offering unique food, history of Salt Lake City, and good company overall. Would 100% recommend this tour.

Maxwell was an amazing guide, very approachable and conversational. Your had 5 stops. One Indian stop and a vegan ice cream on our tour. Indian is a very divisive cuisine and wasn't for me. I've been on many food tours and have never had an Indian food stop so I did not expect that. Vegan ice cream was coconut milk based which was also a surprise that I think would have mixed opinions, generally. I didn't see many choices of food tours in this city, so if you really want to go on tour, I guess give it a try. No real reason to suggest it or not. No glaring issues, but nothing much memorable
