Beskrivning
Följ med på en promenadmattur genom en av Addis Abebas grannskap där vi ska prova alla typer av Etiopiens berömda mat! Vi kommer att besöka tre restauranger, ett juicehus och prov på vegetariska rätter, kötträtter och färsk fisk. Turnén börjar klockan 7 och slutar runt 20.00.

Turnén startar i stadsdelen Atlas i Addis Abeba med en välkomstdrink eller kaffe. Därifrån åkte vi till fots till en familjeägd restaurang som serverar våra favorit vegetariska rätter i landet. När vi går genom grannskapen kommer våra guider att dela mycket information om Addis Abeba och landets historia och kultur. Därefter besöker vi Addis Abebas mest berömda kötthus följt av en fiskrestaurang. Vi tankar med lite kaffe och har en färsk juice till dessert! Vid varje stopp kommer vi att prova öl från olika delar av landet. Turnén slutar runt 20.00.

I went on the combined Addis overview tour and evening food tour. The first is a food. Ethiopian food is great but can be a little jarring in the beginning. Also, finding good eateries in the city can be a challenge.
ETT provided us with another fun adventure in Addis. Our guide Leul was fantastic. We started by going the fruit and vegetable market. The size and amount of chaotic activity is really something to be seen. Its every bit as amazing as the merkato. Next we went for breakfast. Leul took care of ordering. I highly recommend the mixed mango, pineapple and avacodo juice. Next it was off to make injera. The three of us on the tour failed miserably. It is much harder than it looks. Finally we headed to lunch and some wonderful shiro. The only draw back to this tour is you do spend a good amount of time in a vehicle due to the traffic in Addis, but you get to see day to day life first hand. A great experience.
