Denna privata turné är 100% anpassningsbar. • Med din tvåspråkiga guide kan du antingen besöka 3 slott eller 2 slott + lokal vinprovning i en familjeägd källare • För det första slottet rekommenderar vi det ikoniska Château of Chenonceau, byggt vid floden, ett av de mest fantastiska exemplen på arkitektur i Loiredalen. • Förundras sedan över det mest imponerande och största slottet i Loiredalen: Château de Chambord, på uppdrag av kung François I och med trappor designade av Leonardo Da Vinci. – Om du bestämmer dig för att inte göra vinprovningen kan du se ett 3:e slott som Chateau de Cheverny som inspirerade Hergé att skapa sin seriefigur Tintin. Oavsett om du är ett par, en grupp vänner eller med din utökade familj, kommer du att njuta av ett unikt besök fullt av intressanta anekdoter och fantastiska konstverk. Klockan 7.30 hämtar vår förarguide upp dig från ditt hotell eller var som helst i Paris med ett luftkonditionerat fordon av hög kvalitet, till det första stoppet är cirka 3 timmars körtid.
Besök det ikoniska Château of Chenonceau med din lokala guide, ett av de mest fantastiska exemplen på arkitektur i Loiredalen, med sitt enorma galleri som sträcker sig över floden Cher, vilket ger den smeknamnet "Ponte Vecchio of France." Smeknamnet Château des Dames – Ladies’ Château – ägdes successivt av många kvinnor med makt och inflytande inklusive Diane de Poitiers och Caterina de’ Medici. • Inne i slottet kommer vi att upptäcka den otroliga samlingen av mästerverk (Reubens, Van Dyck, Corregio...), de kungliga sovrummen, salongerna för kung François I och kung Ludvig XIV, kapellet och naturligtvis galleriet designat av Caterina de’Medici.
• Efter vårt besök på slottet kommer vi att träffa en lokal vinmakare och ha en privat provsmakning i hans vingård nära Chenonceau. Det tar 20 minuter att köra från Chateau de Chenonceau till Ange.
Upptäck slottet som inspirerade Hergé att skapa sin seriefigur Tintin. Ägarna bor i slottets högra flygel, och det finns sekelgamla träd i den vackra parken och en inhägnad där du kan se slottsägarens flock jakthundar.
• Det sagolika Château de Chambord är det största av alla slott i Loiredalen och är inrymt djupt i Europas största slutna, skogklädda park. Chambord, på uppdrag av kung François I, är kulmen på renässansarkitektur och uppfinningsrikedom. • Vi kommer att ägna särskild uppmärksamhet åt den innovativa designen – från Leonardo da Vincis dubbelspiraltrappa i hjärtat av slottet, till ritningen av slottet i form av ett kors, till kungliga rum och otroliga trädgårdar. Vi kommer att ta oss tid att upptäcka detta revolutionerande slott. Att köra från Ange till Chateau de Chambord är cirka 50 minuter och det tar 3 timmar att åka tillbaka till hotellet. På vägen kan du också se det magnifika landskapet och korsa typiska franska små byar.
I slutet av dagen returnerar vi dig till ditt hotell eller en valfri plats i Paris

A 5 Star Experience. BACKGROUND. A week before we toured the Loire Valley with FINDING FRANCE/Clement Decre, Brenda and I learned that Air France had a nonstop flight from Phoenix to Paris. So we grabbed two tickets for the next day (November 30), landed in Paris (December 1) and took the train to Strasbourg (Capitale de Noel) for the Christmas Markets for a few days (if you find yourself in France in December, Strasbourg is a must visit); then we returned to Paris. FINDING FRANCE. Brenda and I have been to Paris so many times over the years that we were stymied what to do next as we had three days before our flight home. In conversation with the concierge at our hotel I asked about a private tour to the Loire Valley, and he recommended FINDING FRANCE -- which was the highlight of our brief time in France. Everything was perfect from the cleanliest of the limousine to the knowledge/professionalism of Clement as he guided us through the Chateau du Clos Luce, the Leonardo Di Vinci Park and Museum, the Chateau du Chenonceau and the Loire Valley. (As an aside, Clement showed us a small restaurant in Amboise, no tourists just locals, where we had the best ever ham and cheese sandwich!) THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING. This June 2025, after high school graduation and before our granddaughter starts college, we will be returning to France -- and we will be booking a tour with FINDING FRANCE. Brenda and I cannot think of better way to introduce our granddaughter to France than a tour with FINDING FRANCE. As I earlier said, it is a "5 Star Experience."
