Resplan

Great views and knowledgeable driver. Flexible with stopping for photos. The tour was good but having to type a minimum of 100 characters into the review is stupid.
Simon was our guide for a one day tour of the southern part of the Lofoten archipelago. We got to see many beautiful stops along the way, that’s almost a given! But the real benefit here was our guide. He was extremely knowledgable and personable, and elevated the experience considerably. We may have benefited from a quiet day, it was only our group of 2 on the tour. There was a stop for lunch in Sakrisøya and some short optional opportunities for a little walking here and there. All in all, beautiful scenery with lots of insightful commentary.
Thank you so much for the lovely review! Simone is truly an amazing guide and we are so glad you had the best time with him in Lofoten Islands.
We originally booked the 2-day photo tour to add on to a Hurtigruten ship voyage, but the windy, snowy weather caused us to cancel one of the days. We were ultimately glad to have done so, as both the South and North island tours last 7 hours, mostly riding in the mini van except for the occasional photo stop and the lunch stop. While that is a great way to see everything, it is a long day. The scenery, even in snowy weather, is spectacular. Our guide Simon was a good, knowledgeable guide although his Italian-accented English was often difficult to understand over the road noise. We definitely recommend this company. They were responsive to emails, and handled our cancellation refund right away.
Activity canceled 24 hours before without any explanation from the organizer even though we had agreed on a meeting place. No alternative proposed. Another activity planned with the same organizer during our stay had also been canceled a few days before... We do not recommend Lofoten Lights at all. To flee.
Good morning, what a bad and unfair review, unjustified as well. The guide was at the hospital and we had to cancel. It is not true you didn't get any explanation as you had as everyone had.. A real pity you were not able to understand the reason why we cancelled and how difficult it was for us, the providers. Fortunately most of the people appreciate our job and professionality. I will report your review to Viator . Best regards, Claudia
The tour was simply wonderful. We've seen parts of the archipelago that we couldn't have visited on our own, since we have no car. Even by car it took 2 hours to get to the southwestern islands on Lofoten. What made the tour even more worthwhile was the guide Erik, who knew how to tell a story - from historical and political background information to personal anecdotes. He could also give some advice on how to get the best photos. Can recommend!
Had some Lady Luck during our recent trip down south to Reine. It was a typical bad Lofoten winter…ie very strong wind gusts, snow, rains when we visit, but somehow it cleared up as we head south towards Hamnoy, Reine and Sakrisoy! Managed to capture some beautiful memories of the islands! And best of all, was our guide Eric from the Lofoten Lights who not told us all about the islands history/life, recent weather events and climate warming on the islands, he also taught us a few photography tricks with our smartphone! He also shared his migrant story and life experiences of his family and even drove us through his home town! We learnt so much on the lives of those that chose to call the islands their Home, thanks to him! Also, many thanks to Claudia for her kind support, understanding and advice during our flight/tour disruption due to the weather! She really runs a fantastic tour outfit that also has a strong presence in social media! When in Svolvaer, you will not be disappointed to engage their services!
It was a great experience, we got very lucky with the weather and the guide, Eric, was amazing, his knowledge of the islands is extensive and we had the greatest time stoping and enjoing some of the most amazing views of Lofoten.
Eric is the most happy and amazing guide we've had yet! Not only did he show us the islands and tell us details about them, also shared their history and local traditions and activities! Also is a very good photographer! The trip is amazing, you have a lot of spectacular short breath views!
Excellent and very interesting guide Eric was just perfect and knew so much on the history and the life of the Lofoten Islands a wonderful experience
