Worth every penny, it was fun, engaging & our guide Emily was delightful
Emily was awesome and super fun guide ! She was very informative and gave lots of awesome knowledge and history. Plus we got a surprise stop to see some highland cows!
Our guide Emily was wonderful! She is a wealth of Scottish Highland history, has a wonderful carefree personality and took great care of us. The day was well paced and a great mix of experiences like the lovely Loch Ness cruise (we did not spot Nessie 😕), delicious lunch in Beauly, and whisky tasting with wonderful staff and whiskys, with history like Urquhart castle and especially the Culloden battlefield and museum. We even got to see some coos! Our last stop was Clava Cairns, and it was a perfect way to end the tour - It is such a beautiful, peaceful location with deep history of this beautiful country, and you can feel the magic of the stones (Outlander fan, obviously!). Highly recommend!

We had a great experience! Our guide, Emily, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of each site we stopped on, very friendly, and got us to each destination on time with no issues!

Our tour guide (July 9th, the young guy) was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself was about twice as long as it should have been. The morning sites (boatride, uruquhart castle, Singleton distillery) were well worth visiting. We spent 40 minutes - 1 hour at each. The sites afterwards, however, were less enjoyable mostly because we spent far too long there. We spent 90 minutes each on a small town square (for lunch) and the battlefields. Interesting places but less than the other places we spent half the time at. It felt like the toor company tries to spread out the afternoon sites as much as possible to justify the price of a full day tour. We could have gotten through all of the sites in 2-3 fewer hours.
Karen was a wonderful guide. She drove the bus safely and was very prompt on her drop off and pick up. She had great facts about the surrounding areas!
If you’re visiting Inverness or the Scottish Highlands, this tour is an absolute must. With such limited time in Scotland, we wanted to experience as much as possible… and this tour exceeded every expectation. We were able to see and learn about so many of the Highlands’ most iconic sights while also gaining a deeper appreciation for Scotland’s rich history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. A huge part of what made this experience so memorable was our guide, Martin. His knowledge of Scottish history was incredibly impressive, but what truly set him apart was his personality. He was funny, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Every stop came with fascinating stories, local insights, and plenty of laughs along the way. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. This tour allowed us to accomplish everything we had hoped to see during our short stay, and we left feeling like we had experienced the very best of the Highlands. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day. 10/10 highly recommend this tour, and if you have the chance, absolutely request Martin. You won’t regret it!
