Detta populära museum innehåller Zambias äldsta samling av fascinerande prover från områdets förhistoria, samt fotografier, musikinstrument och memorabilia som tillhör Davide Livingstone, den första vita mannen som såg Victoriafallen.
En av våra mest populära Livingstone-turer är en resa till en traditionell by. Den lokala Livingstone-chefen, chef Makuni, uppmuntrar besökare till sin by som är hemma för cirka 7000 Leya-personer, för att få värdefull kunskap om hur en afrikansk by drivs och de dagliga rutinerna för de människor som bor där. En huvudman kommer eskortera dig runt byn för att visa hur traditionella hyddor är gjorda och dekorerade, för att förklara bypolitiken och att svara på eventuella frågor som en kund kan ha.

We are back from the Livingstone town tour and we are still thinking about it! The Livingstone Museum was top notch, so well-made and informative, we learned so much about the history and culture of the area. And Mukuti African Village was truly eye-opening; the presentation by a member of their tribe was truly amazing and really brought the culture to life. Interesting place , used to be the capital of Northen Rhodesia, (Today Zambia) it has the oldest museum in country, the railway museum, the jewish museum, some interesting art deco architecture. If you are into history do not miss it. But if you are not into history could be boring.
Nice city tour we visited the Livingstone museum and the Curial market. Still looking forward to do it again
