Livingstone Historical City Tour
Beskrivning
Efter museet turnerar kunderna en snabb stadstur i Livingstone med en kommentar medan de långsamt kör för att förklara den historiska turnén i Livingstone. Stopp vid stora historiska byggnader och delegater är fria att ta bilder. Staden Livingstone flyttades från Old Drift 1905 när det beslutades att en plats på Constitution Hill skulle vara friskare än en vid floden. Staden planerades noggrant med breda gator, vägar av vackra träd, byggnader med högt i tak och myggnätverandor. Kunderna tas för att se den berömda Curio-marknaden, som är en livlig färgglad marknad där de lokala zambierna kommer för att handla. Marknaden säljer allt från ljusa chitenge (lokalt tyg), väskor, kurios gjorda av olika typer av träd, koppararmband, väggklockor, afrikanska kartor med Big 5 djur etc. Denna marknad ligger i en liten park i centrum av staden . Efter turnén överförs kunderna tillbaka till hotellet.

I enjoyed so much the drive as the guide me drove me into different parts of livingstone seeing how rich and locals live in this city. Unbelievable diversity between the standards of living in this city.The guide was excellent and a well knowledgeable of his city.At the museum the guidness was poor as the museum guide only directed me from one part to another without any explanation.

Excellent experience. Learnt a lot about the history of Zambia through the museum tour. Subsequent tour of the city to various parts of the town including the markets was an eye opening and cultural experience. We learnt a lot from our guide, Mwangelua who was very knowledgeable and hospitable.
