There are so many hidden gems in Prague that only an experienced photographer can know. Johny not only took me to some amazing photo opportunities but was excellent in proving tips and assisting with camera settings. This was a totally different type of photography for me. It forced me to slow down, think and look for a different perspective.

We took two photo trips with Jan and were incredibly impressed by the experience. Our first tour covered Hluboká, Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, and Písek; on the second, we explored Karlovy Vary and Loket. Each day was packed with beautiful locations and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. Jan inspired us with his own images and insights, then encouraged us to craft our own shots. His feedback was always positive and tailored to each person’s style, making the experience creative and personal rather than formulaic. We came home with some truly beautiful photos we’re proud of. Beyond photography, Jan made sure we enjoyed the best of Czech cuisine in local restaurants. He was always attentive to everyone’s abilities, both photographic and physical, and went above and beyond to make the trips enjoyable for all. I would definitely book with him again—I'm even considering his Tuscany tour in the future. Absolutely worth it.

I can highly recommend Jan's Photo Tour of the beautiful city of Prague. Jan is a very pleasant, friendly, and professional photographer who really knows his stuff. Jan was very kind and understanding when I was having a taxi nightmare getting to our meeting point. His photographic knowledge and skill is second to none, I ended up with some fabulous shots as a result of Jan's tuition and knowledge of the city. As a solo female I felt very comfortable and safe with Jan. I would urge anyone with an interest in photography to book this tour while in Prague - you certainly won't regret it.

My son and husband came along with me on this tour as my "extras" just to follow along which was a great option to have. I was hesitant to do a photography tour but Jan was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. We went to some great spots which we had not been to and would not have found. Jan provided tips on camera settings and talked through composition. I learnt a lot but also came away feeling as though I am on a better path to getting what I want to out of photography. Wonderful experience! Jan knows some great, out of the way, spots for iconic photos of Prague and is an excellent professional photographer. He provided a wealth of tips on shot-making and camera settings. More than that though, he is excellent company.
