Sofia is a superb guide. She is extremely engaging, personable, and warm, as well as professional and knowledgeable about Japanese culture in general, and about the sites on our tour to Mt. Fuji. She shared with our group some of her own personal experiences and asked all of us about our backgrounds. I highly recommend her as a guide. She is the kind of person that you would likely seek out to be a friend.
We were advised of a late amendment for the meeting point which turned out to be the wrong place. However, Sofia phoned us & patiently called us on the phone to give us directions so that we were able to meet up & go on the tour. Sofia was very friendly and gave us lots of interesting information about the sights

Fantastic experience with Sofia, our tour guide, taking us to Mount Fuji. We began with gardens with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. We had time to look around, smell the lavender and briefly shop in the gift shop. Second stop we went to Fuji pergola which had excellent views of Mount Fuji. Both of these two trips were sensational. Afterwards we had a lovely lunch which Sofia suggested and onto the last stop of visiting ponds of Fuji Shibokusa which was lovely. No admission fees during this time of year (potentially not at all). Sofia mentioned during the cherry blossom season wait times can be upto 2 hours. Crowds were fortunately very small and not dense however it appears to increase over the duration of the day. This tour was suitable for everyone however reaching the Pegola is tough with many steep steps.

Sofia was our tour guide to Mt. Fuji and the lakes and she was wonderful!!!!!! She was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the significance of each place we visited. I definitely felt taken care of. Thank you Sofia for a very memorable experience!!
