Vi börjar resan i hjärtat av Belgrad — Republic Square (Trg Republike). Känd för sin ikoniska staty av prins Mihailo på hästryggen, är detta stadens kulturella och historiska puls. Vi kommer stolt att introducera dig till viktiga landmärken som Nationalmuseet och Nationalteatern medan du delar berättelser om serbisk historia.
Därefter utforskar vi den livliga gågatan Knez Mihailova Street, den livliga knutpunkten i Belgrads gamla stad. Denna historiska gata, kantad av eleganta 1800-talsbyggnader, erbjuder en blandning av bokhandlar, eleganta kaféer och gatuartister. Här kommer du att se dolda spår av Osmanska riket, veta mer om kända serbiska forskare och konstnärer, hitta en av de största lokala konstmuseer, medan guiden kommer att dela några insidertips om hur du spenderar din tid att gå längs denna fina aveny.

Vi kommer att göra ett stopp vid Bajrakli moskén, en slående påminnelse om Belgrads osmanska arv. Som stadens enda fungerande moské berättar den en historia om religiös mångfald och historisk förändring som är vittne till många katastrofer spridda över staden från 1700-talet fram till våra dagar.
Vi avslutar vår resa i Skadarlija, Belgrads mest bohemiska kvarter. Dess kullerstensgator, fulla av charm och karaktär, är ett nav för konstnärer, musiker och traditionella kafanas. Vi kommer definitivt att dela med oss av tips på hur man kan njuta av rakija (framstående serbisk konjak) som en lokalbo och fördjupa dig i Skadarlijas livliga atmosfär.

Tapa was a very knowledgeable and professional young lady. She imparted a lot of knowledge about Serbian history with a focus on Belgrade. Being an architect student, she was able to provide a unique and informative tour about the city's landscape. We covered a lot of ground during our tour which ended in the Bohemian district. Our tour guide Tara, was excellent, extremely knowledgeable and answers all of our additional questions. Tara was attentive to our needs and went at an excellent pace when talking about the history of Belgrade.

My plane was late, so I couldn't get in time for the scheduled tour, but my guide Tara was so kind and agreed to make a walk with me next day. The tour around the Old City of Belgrade with her was great: good temp, not much boring statistics or loads of historical dates, good amount of tips and tricks for the spare time and yes, coffee stop. Just as I like when travelling. Plus the weather was warm and sunny, so we could stand for a while to look at confluence of Sava and Danube. Good feelings and great memories. Absolutely recommended.

It was first time in my life that a group tour was conducted for me alone. I stayed in Belgrade just for 1 day, and could not reschedule the excursion, although it was raining heavily. The tour was absolutely fantastic! There were only two of us, so it felt like a private tour. The guide was a charming young woman who not only knew the city inside out but also made the experience fun, engaging and relaxed. We strolled through cozy streets, listened to fascinating stories and got plenty of great tips on local coffee places, restaurants and hidden gems.
